As the title says.. What are you addicted to? is it bad? do you plan on quitting? how long it has been this way?
As for me i use to be addicted to smoking, but then i quit and haven't been smoking for months now! currently i am addicted to watching movies! A day has no passed by i haven't watched a movie, Even if its a tough day being busy and all, i still watch a movie before going to bed! i don't think my current addiction is that bad compared to my old one! anyways what about you?!

Good question! I have quite a few addictions. One being music. I cannot go a day without listening to some sort of music, especially some of my favorite artists.
Another thing would be the internet and Twitter. First thing I do after waking up and brushing my teeth is log onto Twitter and see what's new for the day. Then I'll post a few tweets of my own and that's it, I can go on with my day.
The internet I think is the worst of them all. Once I get online it takes an army to get me off the computer, lol! But I think everyone who uses the internet gets addicted in some way.

I am addicted to myLot, not for the money but for the opportunity to write, and to be read. There is seldom a day that I don't sit at my computer reading the Posts, and responding, not for the money, but for the fun of it. The money is part of the fun, I have to admit.

Hello rock rock,
Your post is a bit confusing. When you use the superlative degree 'most' it takes only one but your question is open to multiple answers. If I ask you what are you addicted to? I expect one answer not many. Still taking this into granted I say I am presently addicted to nothing. I used to smoke and used to eat pork a lot but now 'no' for both of them are antigens for me.
And you know 'addiction' always bears a negative connotation.

Yah actually my question was "what are you addicted to the most?". I didn't bother typing the word "most" again cause i already mentioned "As the title says" on the first line of my post. I am sorry my English wasn't so perfect, It's sad how no one else got confused except you.
Oh and Addiction ALWAYS being a negative connotation is a historical thought, "Addiction can also be viewed as a continued involvement with a substance or activity despite the negative consequences associated with it - Wiki"

Hi Rock!
I am addicted to articles any kind of articles I like to keep it as my collections, my laptop as I work with the help of my laptop even in my free time I am still with it. Besides, I am also addicted to internet and foods. I used to be addicted to chocolate but now I can control that. I am addicted to books and some other things. Fortunately this things never bring bad sides to my life. I never drag myself to bad addictions because I don't want to ruin myself for it.

I am addicted to playing online games. I do not think its bad for me. I only play if I am bored and stressed here in the office. It's been for a few months now that I don't miss a day without playing this online game. And I do not have plans on quitting, because it hepls me when I'm bored or when I'm stressed with workload.

Yah well, getting addicted to an online game was bad enough for me in many ways. i am not sure what game you play but the ones i use to play turned out pretty bad! anyways if you think its not bad for you its fine, a game always helps you relax when you feel bored or stressed indeed. Just watch it because gaming addiction can get pretty bad.

oh really?! why do they say that diabetic people are more prone to dental problems then? hm? You know just cause you got no sugar in your chocolate doesn't mean you can start slacking on brushing your teeth!

As of now, I'm still addicted to smoking but I've cut it to 5 sticks a day opposed to the usual 15 to 20 sticks a day. I think I'm doing progress here. Besides that, there are no serious addictions I have to worry about.

I had thought of that but those are way too expensive. One stick costs a little under Php1,000 here. That's about a little over $200 so I'm just gonna stick to my own personal program. It seems to be working so I'll rely on it. I'll consider buying e-cigs if mine failed.

Coffee!
Oh, I could quit any time I wanted; but I'm afraid to!
I've heard a bit is good for you, but no more than 4 cups a day---after that it's garbage ... or was that 'dark chocolate' (which I would be addicted to if it were as plentiful/easy-to-get as COFFEE!)

wow, it's great to know that you quit smoking successful. I know you underwent so much sacrifice and hard work in the process. that's great. I know a few persons who used to be chain smokers who successfully quit. They underwent so much difficulties in the process. My and you were one of them now. As for addiction as you termed, mine is using the internet. My day is not complete without coming online even if for mylot only though my internet connection here is very slow but i still have time to open the net.

Well as for me, I am addicted to video games, believe it or not. Now I am not saying that I will go to the store to buy video games every week or so, but once I start playing the ones that I have, sometimes they are hard to put down. This also goes for online games, and surfing the internet itself. You get so caught up in what you are doing and before you know it time has gone by. When it all comes down to it I believe we all need discipline. Personally I don't think watching movies is a bad thing. You're just enjoying yourself. BTW congrats on quitting smoking.

Haha, thanks. I use to be addicted to games too, i know it can be very addicting, specially the online games, they do effect us in various negative ways. Offline games are still ok. At least you can save and move on, but MMORPGS are worst. Stay away from them.

I remember back in high school, the first gaming console that I bought was the N64, and the first game that I got was Wrestlemaina 2000. I swear once I got the controller in my hand, I couldn't stop. I took breaks but after I would back in front of the tv again. These days I still play video games but I have my limits. I just do it for fun and relaxation.

Haha, i was addicted to coffee once, well it was actually my work which made me addicted to it, i did have to stay up at nights often due to work and the only thing that kept me up was coffee, so as i started to have a huge amount of coffee a day i realized i got myself addicted to it, even though i did quit and it wasn't that hard. I still have coffee sometimes now. I would say its amazing.
