Sucessful people have to be positive. They also have to have stamina and determination to see them through. If they aren't positive and believe in themselves and what they are doing then they are lost. Our very way of forming thought is a money maker. We either are sucessful or we aren't.

Yes, I agree with that. Positive thinking will make people succeed because nothing can let them down. A negative thinker would give up or sulk after a failure, so he will never have the chance to do better or win the next time. A positive thinker will try again and again after each failure, until he reaches success.

a positive attitude is so helpful in every day life. The day seems to go better and I feel if you are positive you don't miss out
on opportunities that may be presented to you because you are more aware of them because you are not feeling down. I have a job which I am very grateful for, but do not care for the job itself. I like the hours and the benefits that come with it and the pay is okay. I am always on the look for something better but try to stay focused on the fact that I am employed and some others are not . Hopefully I will find something that I am happier with but in the meantime I try to stay positive with what I have currently.

Yes, potentially, that's a good start & one anyone can & should make to help the world become a better place to live our fleeting existance. Welcome to My Lot.My blood group is also positive. The next step is to implement this positive thought process in our speech, writing style & actions. We can make it a habit on a daily basis. We have so many bad habits already - why not add some good ones to the mix? Because making negative comments takes up about the same amount of time and effort, with little difference, then why not use positive ones? You may like to check my recent discussion on this issue & add your own thoughts if you wish:

YES!! Positive thinking comes with motivation, determination, faith and hope. You are motivated and determined that you will achieve all your goals. And even when negative things come during your journey, yet you still have the faith and you do not lose your hope that things will just end what you want it to be. Pursuing your goals is the only thing that is in your mind. If a person has all of these, then there is no doubt that the person will be successful in the end.

Positive thinking can really make difference in your life. Optimist people tend to think of every positive side even if they're facing struggles in life. It does not necessarily means that optimists don't feel frustrated, disappointed or putting an extra drama with their lives. They just choose to analyze the situation is no matter how complicated it is and find solutions other than whining. Remember the Law of Attraction? If you choose to think positive things, surely positive circumstances will enter your life and may create abundance.

When I was in college, I got some positive thinking books by Norman Vincent Peale. From reading those books, I believe it is possible to be successful in life. According to Peale, for example college. I am going to take a math test. I see myself in my mind getting an A. I study hard, do the homework (especially the hardest problems) over again. I see myself with that A. I study that evening, go to be seeing an "A" on my paper. I get up, exercize, and study the laws and fundamentals, and review. Then I get the A. So yes, it works. As the other myLotters have said, it also takes hard work. And I don't leave God out of it.

When you get older you'll find that sometimes you won't feel good to start your work. My Myspace friend Jessie J (the pop singer) has a broken foot so she's not feeling well in her foot. But she still works hard. Sometimes I wasn't feeling well, but I still saw that "A" in my head, studied, and got my A. It depends on how successful you want to be. If you want to succeed at something, even sickness cannot get in your way.

Absolutely! We are what we think. And whatever we send out to the universe will come back to us sooner or later. So if we think success, then we shall be successful indeed. We just need to believe more in ourselves, that's all!

Failure and Success both are part of the life. So people should ready for the both. Positive thinking really plays important part in getting success. For example, We failed in our first Business.. Now if we think negatively about it then we don't able to start anything else and that will cause failure of life time. Instead of that if we think positively and do something else with positive attitude then success will be not much away. That is my personal experience.

positive thinking without hard-work is like a ship sailing without a rudder.programming your mind to think positively will help you to perceive things differently and also will boost your chances of exceeding in your actions.Negative thinking will create a detour to your success.

Yes positive thinking is the first step to get the success and this is a key of success. If a person wants to start his business and before starting he is thinking ohhhhh loss may be happen in business then he cant start their business. Before giving exam if students think ohh no I never pass then his/her confidence is loosed and the result may be he forget each answer.
So in my opinion positive thinking is necessary to achieve the goal.

Have you heard of the bestselling book, "The Secret"? It was even expounded on over at The Oprah Show. It essentially tells you that positive thinking can change your life for the better. That your mind is a powerful tool. That positive thinking attracts positive things. I believe it to be true.

jo HDHORDA4 I think to be successful in anything you do you have to have a positive mindset. You also must be passionate about what you are doing to be successful in anything. You have to believe in yourself and have self esteem. You wimp out you get no place fast.Luck helps but hard work is the name of the game being positive and working hard to accomplish your goals.Imagination and thinking outside the box also helps to
create things.

Yes I believe it is. A positive thinker can see the solution and seek for the opportunity better than the negative one, thus ensuring the success in their life. No only that, by being positive, we can handle a situation better. We can't control everything that happened around us, but we can control our mind, our thoughts. There is a saying, 'change your thought and you change your world'.

Hi again HDHORDA4 :)
I agree that positive thinking is important to become a successful person.
But, positive thinking alone will not work. We need not only to be more positive in thinking, but also in feeling.
In fact, the way we feel have a great effect to the way we think.
If we feel bad, it becomes harder for us to think about something good. It is hard to think positive when we do not feel positive.
And, as i learn from great gurus, the key to be successful person is to ACT, to take a massive action which will give a great impact to our life.
Many people have a good plan to reach and gain what they want in life, but, they have never get into that. Why? It is often because they did not act according to what they have planned. Or, they did not act at all. That is sad.
Still, i do think so that it is true: positive thinking makes us more success in life.
Have a great day! :)

If an individual is thinking positive, therefore he must be thinking he is already successful in life! Just Kidding! Yes, positive thinking or being optimistic makes an individual see simple things as an opportunity. And if you have the ability to identify opportunities you are already one step into being successful. Also, positive thinking can be related with perseverance. The more positive you think, the more motivated you are and hence your will power is strong making you persevere all the struggles just to be successful. I believe it is one of the most critical attitude towards success but I strongly believe that the ability to act together with optimism is the best attitude to success.

Yes, I think so.
In addition, it's the positive thinker who decides chronologically ahead of the negative thinker. So, if there is something to be gained in an enterprise, it's the positive thinker who reaps it earlier, simply because he takes the first steps ahead of others.
Of course, if there are setbacks ahead, he takes the brunt too, alone. But he learns ahead of the others, so that he can forge on fortified by the experience.
I think one of the best quotes describing the attitude of a positive thinker is the following:
"Some men see things as they are and say why - I dream things that never were and say why not."
This is a beautiful quotation from Robert F. Kennedy... errrr... George Bernard Shaw.
