i love travelling around and having good fun in new new places. i love to explore new places, new food, new language, all new new things all the time. but now i have not traveled for quite a long time. my baby was not well and she was advised to stay at one place for some time. we were asked not to change her climate and all for some time so it was an absolute nono to go anywhere. when it comes to babies, then i think that they are the first priority to every parent, until really very very important has not come to attend or go. i have not met my parents also for the last two years and i miss them a lot.

I understand what you are saying. In fact, I have not seen my relatives for quite a number of years too, with my job keeping me so busy. I do travel fairly often on my business trips, to countries in different parts of the world. That is quite interesting, and I very much enjoy working with people of different countries and cultures. That is an educational process in many ways.

I also love traveling. I cannot NOT travel at least once a year, even if it is just to go to a neighboring country. I make it a point to travel for leisure even if is just 3 or 4 days. That is how much I love traveling. Normally, I travel at least twice a year for leisure. Last year, I got to travel twice. This year, I got to travel three times already.

I am very keen on traveling. Earlier this year I took my 4 year old disabled son and my 2 year old daughter to Colombia. Last year we celebrated my daughter's first birthday in Victoria on Vancouver Island. The year before I was pregnant with my daughter and we traveled to Cape Town and the Garden Route. I traveled around the world on my own when I was 20 to 21 years old. That journey took over one year. My next longest duration lasted a few months and I was 29 years old then. On that trip I traveled to New Zealand, French Polynesia, the Cook Islands and Samoa. I am sorry to hear your baby has been poorly so you haven't been able to travel for quite some time. Good luck with your daughter's health improving. I adore exploring new places, meeting the local people and seeing the native wildlife. I especially enjoy visiting tropical destinations and cities with attractive looking architecture.

Hi aweins, I agree that it is not easy to travel when you have young children especially babies...However, it may not be so bad to travel and meet your parents because children do adjust to new surroundings very quickly if they are generally healthy.
I too love to travel and I do travel frequently to Bangalore and other places to visit my mother, sister and my children. It is nice to have them spread out all over the world, gives me a chance to visit different places...all the best

I travel at least once a year now. But when the children were little there was no time or much money to travel as there were other priorities. We managed to have some nice vacations wuth my husband, but not until the caughters were older.
Now I´m a widow and I travel usually alone for a couple of weeks, using mostly the money I earn online. As for the rest, I live frugally but well with my pension and my retirement.

I try and travel at least once a year for maybe 2 weeks. The trouble is my work schedule is very intense so I can;t afford to miss too much work as it means I would be losing out on income and satisfying my clients. I think one needs to try and see as much of the world as possible before they settle down and have kids. I am sure you know how difficult it is to travel now with the little one.
My spouse and I still have a dream of visiting every country in the world one day. Yes, its a crazy dream but we can always try.

Yeah, family tends to tie one down. But maybe for good. I just want to enjoy the time before I get married and start a family. Last year I traveled to 3 countries. I haven't went anywhere this year. Suddenly life starts to get busy. I can't seem to afford the time. Sigh....
