Why does my blog not have a pagerank?

Hi mylotters! I signed up for this site AuthorityBackLinks which pays you for selling text link ads on your website or blog. I thought I would try it out since it is free. So I added my blog url but they will not accept it because it has no pagerank. What is a pagerank and how do I get it? I did a search for it on Google but I don't understand why my blog does not have one. If anyone can explain will be greatly appreciated.
