It all depends on your area but I know that places like NY and Los Angeles have a huge over supply of massage parlors etc. Your degree, can you elaborate a little more on what it is? There are a lot of good business ideas out there but many require capital to getting started. How well do you network?

My networking skills are ok at this point. I do know I need to socialize a lot more. It is a general business degree with no real concentration. My hope was to own my own business and I thought about becoming a life coach. Working for myself has always been my real dream. Thanks for your thoughts, let me know what you think.

There are many ways to market yourself, online and offline. There is also a large supply of life coaches etc out there. Have you thought about starting your own company in the sense of selling a product you make, grow etc? I am currently looking at starting 2 coffee farms, one in Uganda and one in Jamaica but still in the research department.
Do you have capital to lay out for anything and have you asked around to see if there is a demand for anything?

This is cool that you are wanting to get your Degree in Business. This is really the smart way to go, and a lot of great opportunities await you I am sure. There is a lot of choices you could make now. Just might need to start planning a Budget, and your chance of earnings, as well as talking with others to get some ideas and go from there. Good Luck!!

Sorry to hear that. But I would venture to say...things like massages and things like that that aren't absolutely necessary...a luxury...are things that people are for-going these days cause they have to cut somewhere to make ends meet....first things they cut are the luxurys. But maybe you could turn that into physical therapy version in the medical field and see what you can do with that.
My only thought is to find something that is not a luxury...something people HAVE to have for them or their kids. Good luck

Having multiple skills will give you higher worth on the job market. That said I would suggest setting up a website and getting some managerial experience somewhere before jumping right into a small business. If you can get work in a therapy company that much the better!
