Human sense spectrum...

It is a well known fact that as humans, we have a limited spectrum of things that we can see, smell, and hear. Would it be too far to stretch to suggest that we can also only feel and taste a brief sliver of a vast spectrum of possibilities? Why then, is it so hard for people to believe in those things that could possibly exist on a higher or lower plane in those spectrums, out of reach of our dulled human senses? Is it too much to suggest that angels exist on a higher plane of sight and sound, and demons on a much lower plane (thus called forces of darkness...) Is this also the reason that animals are far more perceptive to the presence of spiritual beings than we humans are? What are your thoughts???

that would depend on each person's belief. we cannot forced other people to believe the things that we perceive as truth and reality despite the fact that we don't see them in our everyday lives such as the angels and other things. Although I believe in those things , it's good that I'm open to the possibility of the existence of other beings other than us people. But maybe in the future they would become more visible to the people . Maybe this time is not the right time for them to make themselves to be seen often but I believe of the stories of some people that have seen their own guardian angels.

Hi Hotsummer, I wonder if we can 'believe' things into existence? We can believe things whether they are true or not... like my brother doesn't believe in God or angels, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. I do believe in God and angels, but that doesn't prove they do exist.... wow! What a conundrum! I do believe I have had an experience of being protected by an angel, but someone else may think differently .. you can read below and decide for yourself. I have to believe there is more here than we can see, feel, and taste. I also don't feel that our lives here are just due to accident. Have a nice day!

I don't believe that we can believe things into existence not unless they are actually in existence regardless if we believe them or not . for example about Angelic beings .it does not matter if you believe them or not , if in reality they do exist although they are not visible in this world , even if you believe They don't exist that would not make them disappear just because we believe otherwise .

Following you reasoning to its logical conclusion. There is a limited spectrum of light visible to humans but that is not to say there are colours we cannot see. Frequency of light from around 430 to 750 THz falling upon our eyes allows us to see the known colours with red at the lower frequency and violet at the upper end. Bees, for instance respond to different frequencies of light but we have no way of knowing what colour they register when they see them. Indeed, if you and I both look at a clear sky, we have no way of knowing if our subjective experiences are similar. I might have the same experience seeing green as you have seeing blue. Such possible differences in subjective experience make no difference to how we refer to what we see, since we are trained to refer to whatever subjective experience we have on seeing a clear sky as blue. However those frequencies of light that we do not see as colour can still be detected using appropriate equipment and even if we did not have the exact appropriate equipment we might still be able to measure the change in energy of the system. If such 'higher' and 'lower' planes are still physical then we should be able to register the change in energy of a system they interact with or exist in. If the are not physical then if they interact with the physical world that too would be registrable as a change in energy. In short anything that interacts with the physical would cause a change in energy of the physical system and that change would be registrable all the best urban

THis question would also make me wonder if things tasted differented on different demensions. And how sour can we handle things? I do love sour.Animals are far more perceptive than we are because they are more atuned to noise and can see things we can't. Like dogs have color blindness. How some scientist found that I don't understand. Spiritual beings are made up of energy and animals must be more intune with that energy than we are.

When I was a kid in life science we learned that a spectrum was fractured into 8 different groups of colors branching out into different areas. Theories of Einstein's relativity proved that some parts of life are infinite knowing limits in some levels, but in other levels unknown. Our limitations sometimes I think are only our perceptions maybe? I don't know. Maybe in a sense that may be too grandier. Sometimes in darkness there is a perception of a way out, or in light find some sense that might help a lower level. Animals have both a learned sense that parents teach them when they raise them to a certain stage and an acquired sense that's just instinct. Far be it from me to know whether acquired sense is spiritual or just animal. Darker parts seem to test us more readily than the lighter part does. We need to be like a candle to a flame experiencing a renewal of the mind rather than the same old thoughts

Yes, I think there is much more to the spectrum than we are able to notice. I do believe in angels and I think I've even had contact with one. I was about to be murdered, I'm pretty sure of it, or I would have been severely hurt by someone I met and couldn't get out of my life. He started out to be a boyfriend, but quickly turned into a monster that I couldn't get out of my house. I was plotting my escape all the time just in case of an emergency, and that day happened. I almost got into my car to escape but he had me cornered and his fist was about to come into my face when a black truck was screaming its horn ans it flew into my driveway. I never knew who was in that truck, but it got the attention of my attacker and let me go to see who was blowing the horn at him. I jumped into my car and flew out of my driveway... there was normally lots of traffic there at my drive.. I would normally have to wait to enter the roadway, but that day there was NO traffic stopping me and I flew out into the road and drove straight to the sheriff's office. I believe there was divine intervention that day to save my life. He had already threatened me with a machete and said he was going to cut me to bits... so this time I figured he would kill me for real.
