Well, what do you guys think of it? I mean, what if Mylot decided to host such single-day events, where mylot members of certain vicinities/region can get together, meet-up and just maybe punch somebody in the face for a stupid comment that guy once made or give him a hug for the support he showed or all those things? I could imagine us wearing our silly name tags, pinned to our dress, walking around with a smile, seeing a familiar nick and going to greet and meet that person and laugh and chat about all sorts of thing. How do you think the idea sounds? If you were to host the event, how would you run it? Any special program or attire? Would it work out or do you think mylotters will just ignore it? If mylot would give each member who'll attend an additional 5$ to their account, would that probably convince more members to attend?

hello choybel, Last year I met few mylotters LK already provided the link for that met up I can say it was fun that time I don't take mylot seriously I was a member for a year but never had a single participation here until I met neildc and rberon personally (jaiho is a friend of mine before mylot) and been active ever since. It is not easy to organized one because like what some vets said Mylot is the place where they tell all they dark secrets some remain anonymous till today for sure most of them will not like to reveal who they are specially those hypocrites and rude mylotters. (just an opinion). If ever there will be one I hope it will be a charitable one happy mylotting

Yes, I just saw it and now I'm really thinking of organizing one. I'll probably start by referring to people first then I'll take it one step at a time. Of course, I'll get help and any help will be appreciated.

I think that this sort of thing generally works much better when it's organised by members themselves rather than by the site. In fact, just such a meet-up was organised not so long ago in the Philippines. I see that one of the people (I don't know whether he was an organiser) is on your Friends list. Quite apart from the expense of sending one or two of the MyLot staff to various far-flung places in the world, giving people a bonus for attending would, I think, be quite out of the question (and rather unfair on those who could not). I don't know where Zamboanga is in relation to other parts of the Philippines but you might consider taking the initiative and having a get together yourself. A number of MyLotters have already met up in their own countries, I believe.

Really? There was already one organized long ago in our country? I didn't know of that. Well, probably it's because I left mylot a few years back and maybe the organizer was from Manila, one of the main cities in our country, which is far away from my place. As of now, I only know one member who is of the same location as mine, didn't meet her yet, but we do have communication sometimes. I think mylot community in my place isn't as big yet, so it'll probably be not so soon for us to have such event here. This just gave me the idea of how much referral I could still make in our place.

The 5$ was just for laughs.Hehehe! Well, it would be better if you could come but if not, it won't do us any harm either.

I think it would be fun to meet a fellow mylotter over a cup of coffee to share experiences. I am not thinking on a big scale but more of a simple event in case I meet someone who is in the immediate neighborhood or in the city where I live. One thing leads to another and this may spark ideas of organizing a regional event, who knows. A grand event may be difficult to materialize due to time and financial constraints but it is not entirely impossible. Good idea though.

Difficult but not entirely impossible, true! Everything can start from something small.

Hi Choybel, Nice. But see, I came from the province of Ifugao and so far, havn't met anyone from my province yet. Those who are from Manila and Manila Suburban Areas I think there would be no problem at all. You are from Zamboanga and I can sense that, not much from the number of our people from the mylot population came from your place. I think it is time for both of us to make a good referrals and soon, they may come and propose to pay us a courtesy visit even without having organized by you nor me neither! Thanks Dennis
