I know that the price of food and gas has really took a big dip into our budget. Trying to keep my kids involved in there activities is getting kinda hard to do. And with work cutting back on productions. I just set and wonder when and if it will all get better. I do not get down cause I know that others have it a lot worse.

I am right there with you. Gas prices and food prices are taking a toll on our budget. Plus trying to keep the kids in activities. Which due the fact that they are having a really hard time getting local businesses to sponsor little league teams means the enrollment price has gone up. Things are getting really tight. Lay offs are still going on like crazy here....local mom and pop businesses are still disappearing...hardly anyone is hiring...things are not getting any better here.
But it could be worse. we are just trimming things as much as we can and making due with less. Just trying to ride this whole thing out and hoping it gets better soon.

Thanks for replying. The same song and dance here to with everyone. I work But hours have been cut. Husband works, but the same with him on hours. I have put in applications for a second job. And that is just for being able to have gas and food. I do not know if someone does not do something and do it soon how much longer people are going to be able to keep their heads above what. I have seen a lot of good people all ready lose a lot. I wish you the best in your situation. My prayers are with you and your family.

I think most of the people in this country are like this right now. We are all just trying to hold on. That is why I laugh when I about our government raises taxes...all I keep thinking is....none of us can afford to pay more taxes...we are all just trying to keep food on the table and gas in our cars and our mortgages paid for.
