what is tff positive?

one of my dads friend was denied a visa to a gulf country saying that he was tff positive, i searched the net but dint find anything in simple terms, could anyone please tell me what it meant so i tell this guy and whats the cure for it

the transnational foundation for peace and future research. People involved in this foundation are more likely to be dnied a visa going to israel for example. They are thought to be critical about the politics in those countries.
www.internationalpeaceandconflict.org explains more. Also there are several more people mentions whose visa's were denied of suspision of being critical on the country's politics.
I don't think it is a disease more likely there are political arguments that are the reason for the denial of the visa. I could be wrong though, did he have a medical exam or something when he applied for the visa?
