No not at all, forbes magazine had done a survey that by the end of 2020, in india half of the population in india is going to be youth, youth power is most important in any country's development, based on this forbes said that india will become the most powerful country, but what is going? what is our youth is going to be?and what the issues they are concentrating on?they just copying the ideas of other or parents..they r not creative in the sense...and also todays most of the india youth are "slaves of entertainment"...indian youth mostly job n money minded now,so there is no zeal to do some thing in them, just to live the life as it goes,it is the princple of most of the todays indian youth

hhmmm intersting thing you said about the survey.i think india has the talent and capacity to become a global power if things fall in right place for them and india's economic growth depends upon more or less the young generation as how they can progress in future.lets see what happens but i believe that anything can happen.

country development depends on economy 50% only. . .remaining depends upon the people's attitude...see the japan's peoples, media.government rection after what they had that damn earth quake...that's the difference . can we expect that determination in india n indian youth now..due to indian parental n marraige systems they are becoming more n more selfish as i believe...from the roots india is corrupted..we should expect a change when we have a change in attitude in individual minds that's all

I wish india is going to be a big super power in 2020.But maybe my meaning about super power is different from your. You know I am a chinese, many athelet who have performed well in contest don't like the sport he play and will have a bad health when they get old.so I don't like some olympics games. At same time, your know that china hold the 2008 Olympics, but you don't know how much money we spend,if this money can spend on helping poor children, there aren't child-begger in many big city. And I thing there more doctors, engineers, scientist are coming from china, but thing good educated people do more harm to common people.yes as you say,our work can buy more things than before, but what we can buy is unhealth, such as MEL-milk and emulgator-drink.At more,China film is also going global, but at recent we have a singer who's name is Guan-xi Chen,he is a rogue. With this,so China is more super power than India,do you like this super?so in my opion,a big super power will a country who have not child-begger,slum and have a govenment for common people and many good educated man who do their best for common people and all public people with good virtues.so China and India have too many thing to do before become a big super power.

hhmmm very true india and china have many more things to do before they become super power but i think in 2020 india and both china will rise as a super power and as you said about the money is not utilised in a correct manner i think that also will be solved and in the coming years both countrys will rise.

I dont think India will be a super power in 2020 provided the corruption and scams are rampant. The babus and netas are much concerned in filling their own coffers rather than striving for the country's overall growth. There are countries which were quite drowntrodden and backlashed which are doing much better than us and it is the worst political system which make us in a bad shape. If our management is good, our country would have been a super power long back.

India is a developing nation and I want to say that the country economy has grown steadily over the years. But overpopulation and poverty is still a major problem in india. Many indian prefer to go to the united kingdom to work rather than work to promote their economy.
The chinese where able to turn their economy to become one of the biggest and advanced in the world due to the fact that chinese people are very determined and their scientist prefer to work at home rather than go abroad. But this is not so with the india. Knowledgeable Indian are too fond of migrating overseas for greener pasture rather than help their country back home. How can india achieve greatness by 2020 when majority of indian scientist are based in Britain and other european countries.

hhmmm but it's my gut feeling that india is going to be the big global power in 2020 as you said the economic position has improved and stable over the years but still there is the problem of poverty but i think that will be sloved until 2020 have a nice day
