if you're talking about those triond like sites, i wont encourage you to join them. you'll earn pretty little and sooo slow as well. i have submitted about 15 articles in troind but it's kinda difficult to earn there. im better off here at mylot. hehe but if you really want to do some writing jobs, why dont you go and freelancer.com. there are tons of writing projects there. just have enough research on the topi. :)

im a member if it. but i suggest you must avoid those employers from India, Bangladesh, pakistan, and such kind of countries. i have had tons of employers from those places, and unfortunately they didnt pay me after my hard work. i know you're from india and i hope you're not mad at me.

Like some of the others have suggested, write about things that interest you or things that you have personal knowledge of so that you can write convincingly about them.
Some of my ideas come from press releases and others come from stories I've heard in the news that I can follow up and add something to.
You'll find the more you write, the easier you write, and you'll find it easier to come up with ideas.

Write about things you're interested and try your best to write a good article. Try to get a decent word count, like 250 words or more.

Look for things that interest you or that you think that other people might be interested in. I subscribe to arcamax's weird news newsletter. I often take things that I read in their newsletter and put my own twist on them. Try to add pictures to your articles. It makes them more appealing, but always remember to give credit where credit is due. If you used a picture from Bing images, put a notation under the picture that it is from Bing images. This covers your butt.

I like Helium.com. You might not earn a lot to begin with but they pay you for past articles and if you build up a decent bank of articles then you could earn a regular income that way which is what I'm aiming to do.
They also offer assignments and there are also contests that can give you the chance of winning money from your work.
They've been about since 2006 and I've been paid several times from them.
