Oh God! I just can't understand the way the climate skeptics are working to blame climatologists that they are spreading unnecessary fear about global warming.I want to ask the mylotters just one question-Are climatologists fools? If you think they are not then why don't you start something different which can help making the Earth a more peaceful and charming place to live. Why can't we do our little bit(if not much) in this respect? I want to make you(the supreme and the most brainy species of this beautiful planet)wake up with the help of a poem which I have written to make my contribution to the battle against "GLOBAL WARMING & CLIMATE CHANGE". Just read it and tell me whether you liked it or not. And,yes, please WAKE UP AND DO SOMETHING FOR THE EARTH AND IT'S INHABITANTS.
O fellow humans! please wake up
Again the summer is very hot
And it's high time for a high take-up
Of evidences,But it seems you fear not.
Climatologists shout it's global warming
Again newspapers are full of supporting evidence
The World will not remain the same charming
And human race will cry in shadow of negligence
But climate skeptics call it wrong
And I believe you must try your logic
Just make decisions which are strong
Otherwise the world will become more tragic
This is what I must fear
We are heading towards a climate war
This , I believe, is not very near
But the evidences cry it's even not too far.
No,I don't intend to make you fear
Just wanna a promise not to give up
But maintain the beauty of the Earth,O my dear
For it is high time to wake up.

I'm not a poetry critic, but at least I see the point.
I'm not huge on the global warming thing for 2 reasons. 1 evidence is not proof, we have a lot of theories that are plausible but based off some very limited knowledge.
Secondly, 9/10 people with big money would rather be rich and screw the planet, the poor won't sacrifice to make a change, so it's unlikely that if it's a real concern anything will be done about it before it's far too late.
Go ahead and do your part, I sorta do mine. But look at the numbers, every individual would have to make big sacrifices to cancel out the pollution created by a few big companies.
Honestly I think the plastic in the ocean is a bigger deal than global warming.
Also remember the hole in the ozone? Don't hear about it anymore, false alarm it was.

First of all thank you for your response which shows you concerned about our planet. Now I want to make the things clear.Your first reason that the evidence is not is not satisfactory, may be there is some point.A large number of scientists are claiming that there is human-caused climate change. For those people who have doubt believing the researches revealing the existence of climate change,I want to ask them one question. Is is not clear to us that humans are disturbing the ecological balance which is vital for sustaining the life on the Earth? There are chances that the climatologists may be right. So it is quite logical that we should living in eco-friendly way without going into any argumentation.I just don't see any harm in going green, instead there are a load of advantages.Who will deny to see our planet more more beautiful.
And your second reason that the poor won't sacrifice to make a change is also somewhat unsatisfactory. It is likely be true that for making a big change one needs financial aid but it's not the only way.Everyone can contribute according one's capabilities. At least one can spread awareness about the problem which is in itself a worth doing. Climate change can be considered the biggest problem on the earth as it is capable of inviting a loads of other problems.
Happy Mylotting!

Spreading awareness is good but all the knowledge in world doesn't help if it's not used properly. In the age of internet we have more knowledge but do almost nothing with it.
We need to be socially aware of what companies are outsourcing labor to unregulated countries and not buy from them. They are creating huge amounts of pollution to put more money in their pockets.
Being more conscientious about things beyond your immediate control is a big part. You can probably reduce pollution more by what you do and don't buy than the small changes in your daily life. I think we should all be more earth friendly, we should live within the means of the earth and stop being a host destroying parasite.
Here's the problem with global warming. It got overplayed and overdone by the media. There are theories, and correlations but that's not how science works. The people jumped to the conclusion that since there's a correlation, it must be CO2, not the scientists.
We don't have accurate temperature readings for the past billion years, yeah the flux between ice ages and tropical ages occur slowly. That's also the the problem. If you graph it out the line over 100,000 years looks pretty smooth, but if you take a 200 year section of that which is at best what we have, that's could be a really jumpy line.
There are a lot of variables that aren't considered, because we assume it's man produced CO2. We're on a power trip and think we control everything. If you know more advanced science you know that in an equation often times one variable may increase an effect when added, but after a certain point no matter how much you add it doesn't matter. Think of it like making kool-aid. If you add a little sugar it's a little sweet, the more you add the sweeter it gets. After a point (saturation), the sugar stops mixing and settles on the bottom no matter how much you stir, if you add more it just falls to the bottom. There's a good theory that basically says this about CO2.
That's not to say we don't need to change things. Things like gas prices, oil spills, the resistance to a much needed change to alternative fuels before we run out of oil. The fact that we need to use less non-renewable energy if we care about the future. Even the smog in LA. There's a ton of better, and more immediate reasons to change. Global warming might sound the most threatening but it's the weakest empirical argument, that's why it's considered more of a scare tactic.

Yes I strongly believe that there is some of change which are caused by human which should not be there if we want to live happily and peacefully on the earth.
