American Summer

Hi I was just wondering if there were any Americans out there? Im curious about your summer holidays How long do they go for in school and work? OUr Summer Holidays here in Australia are over christmas and new Year so its quite broken up but around 6 weeks total I find that really anooying how it is broken like that as planning holidays etc can be hard and never long enough as being home for christmas is imporant to me anyway im just curious about it any information or discussion would be great cheers

I'm a Chinese.I don't the American summer.Our summer will last only for about 7 weeks.

Yes we are cold here in Australia about 10 months of the year! Technically the summer is 12 weeks but not all the that is hot. :-)
