I hate goodbyes, but I have to

I am sleepy right now because I stayed late last night to send and bid my friend good bye. He's a good friend of mine, he's bound to Japan today. Probably he's already in Naguya now. I stayed so late to wait for his call time, and bid him goodbye. I and my two other friends just laughed the whole night, trying to seize the moment that we're still together, I hate goodbyes, but life would always compel us to say it just every now and then in our journey. He's going to Japan to work there. He stopped his studies in law, to pursue another endeavor. I admire him for making such a tough decision for his family. We all laughed that we didn't notice much that time flew so fast, and next thing we knew, we've got to get down the building as he's about to leave. Waaaaaaah, goodbyes are really hard, but instead of throwing some drama and tears. We did it with laughter. Was a great night to bid good bye to a friend, and wish him blessings in his career there. Have you had these scene in your life? Bidding goodbye to a friend? How'd you feel? feel free to share.

Hmm... yes, I suppose... Goodbyes can be hard. But the world has become so small nowadays with the technologies in communication (internet, phone, etc) that people far from each other can easily stay in touch if only they choose to reach out. =) In any case, that is a nice way to spend your last day together. =)

Yes, we chose to be happy and have those memorable laughs of our lives. I hope though he'd really get online on facebook. He's like a brother to me. He's not the type of person who loves internet or even mobile fone. He doesn't send text messages, he just calls but that's once in a blue moon. So it's really hard. But we have to accept it.

Hello friend! I have to deal with a lot of goodbyes in the past. And each goodbye is full of tears and sadness. All those people i have said goodbyes with I never saw again, but others sometimes call me on the phone or even just chat with me, send emails once in a while. I really don't like saying goodbye like you. It sounds like goodbyes are permanent and i don't want that. I'd rather say see you soon or till next time.

I didn't really say goodbye. I said "be online on facebook, ok???" And we really just laugh it off till the last minute we were together... Good byes are really inevitable in life.

Of course there is always time for saying goodbye (but doesn't mean the end) We cannot stay forever with our friends and loved ones laughing and having fun the whole time or the whole day a week or a lifetime. So,no matter how we want to stayed together,it's not possible. At least we did the most of it...and have good memories to cherish with.

I feel so happy whenever my best friend who already lives in Canada with her family , comes to the Philippines for a vacation. So, when the time comes for her to go back , i feel empty. I feel as if ,i will not have anybody anymore , to hear my rantings without accusing me of so self centered, but merely laugh at it and comfort me. She cannot do that in the net, that's why.

Aaaaaaah, I wonder how it'd feel if h comes back. he's tentatively be staying there for a year, but if things work out better he might stay as long as 3 years. Waaah, I told him, he should get online on facebook, so that we'd be able to contact him. He doesn't have skype, yahoo or roaming mobile number. So we could barely reach him, unless he'd make himself available on facebook. I do hope he'd get online, coz he's just the kind of person who doesn't much appreciate online technology.

Hi chuyins123, Yes it is really sad to say goodbye to a good friend. Just keep in mind that he is doing this for a good cause maybe. With technology nowadays surely you can find a way to talk to him and keep in touch. It feels good to receive emails from a friend to catch up on things. Maybe you can visit him sometime or he could go home for a vacation. Just pray for him that everything will be fine.

working in a call center industry, people come and go so i always experience this. being the youngest in our team, i got so attached with my supervisor. she was like a sister to me and she always looks out for me, work and outside work. after a year, she decided to leave the company for personal reasons. i was sad when i heard the news but never really thought it would be a big impact on me. the night of her farewell party, my team mates were there, we were singing and drinking just like our daily fun times. and then finally, truth strucks like lightning, it was the last. when i was bidding goodbye since i have to go to work, i was really crying and she was too. we were sobbing and talking at the same time. after that, we laugh because we know we will meet each other in the long run and she even joked that i have to be mature when the time comes. i felt better butstill felt sad

Yeah, sadness is inevitable in these scenes but we have to go on with life no matter what. And it's our choice to be happy. Thanks for dropping by. Bless you. chuyins

Indeed saying goodbyes to our friends and relatives is very hard. Recently, i need to said goodbye to one of my close friend because she is going off to England to work. Although we can jokes with smiling faces but deep inside our heart, we really missed our time together. We are very close and we had been friends since from childhood. But, i must agreed that she had made the right choice since she will be working in one of the best companies in the United Kingdom.

Yeah, it's better to do it that way. That friend of mine was like a brother to me. Been through a lot in college and he's the kind of friend who doesn't like drama, but he never failed to appreciate every good work you do. Plus, he'll never leave you in times of troubles. I love how we did that goodbye moments. not with tears but with laughter. Bless you. chuyins
