Oh, No there it goes again? Questions here and there about mylot..
I did have a talked about it with the admin in the past about having the guidelines, terms etc to be at the front line ad like when ever some one logs in to this site..to remind them about what is and what is not to be done in this site....I guess bosses didn't approve and ads remain upfront.
Well, To those Newbies, Welcome to Mylot, am one of those recently active annoying (sometimes) my-lotter who would like to remind you that if you have QUESTIONS about MYLOT, and yes yet again i know there are a lot (again). you can check this link down here Belooowwww

I guess i dedicated this also to those who are obviously LAZY in even checking it. so, am doing you a small FAVOR.

Hello Angelee,
I can see that you've been here for three weeks. am sure it's not that easy to navigate mylot at first but i hope by this discussion i can really give some important links on what it is all about being here. probably the things that you need to avoid also in the future. be sure to read them when you have the time because the admin here is very active

I have already read and understood all of the Guidelines, FAQs, and Terms... ;) Also, this is not my first account so I am not exactly "new".
I deleted my other account and made this one.

Hello Visavis,
I myself sometimes have amnesia on reading the rules and regulations with this site. to be honest, i don't want to loose my account again. therefore, it's necessarily for me to read it too once in a week. besides, such rules are very important here i believed so that we can be good role model

I for one is guilty of being so lazy going through all those FAQs and Rules. sorry if somehow I've bothered you before.

Hello chuyins,
yes indeed very informative. but don't get me wrong here because i also have some tendency to be inactive and stubborn from reading all of these. though i have read them the other night. it's just help to be reminded of this site

Ah yes, I do read some of those FAQs and Rules every now and then. I am just too lazy to read them all at one time. This would be a great help for the newbies.
One cure to my laziness though is to use the search engine here for topics related to my question. and most often than not, I do find some helpful posts to answer my question.

I think this topic should be "stickied" already. Does myLot have the sticky system? This will help to prevent the same old FAQ topics often posted here. The double, multiple and frequent posts of such topics rather gets annoying for me.. I hope myLot admin will look on to this suggestion as it will help a lot in organizing the forums and will give easy access for newbies. A great post by LetranKnight!
By the way, where is that curious smiley that you are saying? I've tried to look for it on the set of my smileys but didn't found it.

Got that one just now!
It is almost a sure thing that we'll get to see that Curious Smiley in here! Else, this thread of yours would never look complete as to myLot standards of such FAQ and guidelines threads!

great of you to post the links to the frequently asked questions and guidelines and terms and conditions of mylot for the newbies letran knight. i'm sure they highly appreciate it.
i think it is important that new mylotters take time to read through these rules and regulations so that they have their expectations set correctly and won't encounter any difficult situations with mylot.
the bit about veterans is a great advice as well. what could be a better teacher than experience?
so to the new mylotters out there, take heed to letran knight's comments and suggestions.
enjoy y'all!!!

i agree wholeheartedly letran knight.
even for experienced mylotters, it'll be great to refresh oneself of the rules and regulations here in mylot. i haven't visited the faq section for ages before going through it earlier and i'm glad i did. at least, now, i'm more informed about the rules and regulations here in mylot and what constitutes a violation or not.
again, thanks for the friendly reminder lk!
cheers!!!

Hello Allen,
You're not a newbie but you would certainly need to know of these from time to time. after responding to some dsicussions and comments, i'd probably read them again to prevent myself from violating anything. this is for their or our own good since it's already visible compare to other sites.have a nice day

Two thumbs up for this discussion. It's nice to know that there is you who cares. I am guilty of those "who are lazy in checking it!" Heheh I read some but not all. Now I will take time to check specially the post guidelines. :-)

Hello maharlikah,
Well, to be honest it was only last night that i check the terms and conditions for the first time. it only got my attention when the admin told me about it.both terms and guidelines are basically important so far i haven't read the terms in full text, some parts that i feel important. but il read them all later.

Great idea here Letran to remind all members about the guidelines, FAQ and TOS. Yup many sign up and do not read the links to later find a great deal of efforts wasted.
Excellent way to remind them and hope they do take the time to review them.

Hello bhabycatch,
Yes, i hope i can get enough new ones to check this discussion so that they can take a good long look at it. i don't think there stupid enough to pretend if they have been on this site. how ever, there is a chance that there are lazy and ignorant users who complains but never check these links

hello LK,
Its no doubt that your's is very informative discussion for newbies & for old members. Always it happens when someone joins a site he always don't read FAQs or Guidelines and leave it for later.
But this is wrong way to start with some new site one should always read FAQs and other information first then should start working on it. It really a tiring job for others to write every time "check FAQs".(hehehe)
When i was new to MYLOT i always used to get embarrassed when somebody use to point me out to read FAQs. But still all of us need help of someone better than us to get information whenever required.

Hello sjvg1976,
Who would? it was only when i re-register again and become an active mylotter that lead me to have been more aware of the rules and guidelines of the lot. all of us needs only to read these to prevent from making another mistake. well,i used to get made when some one is pointing the rules. but now i guess it's time to show and tell.
