Lately, I indulged myself listening to old and classic music... brings me nostalgic... I remember the places, the people, the events link to that songs...
Have you experience that forgotten songs for many years but when you hear it again, everything flashback on your mind the memories, laughter and tears that songs brought to your life? What kind of songs that made you cry and laugh evrytime you hear it?

The song "Plush" by Stone Temple Pilots brings me back to my high school days. The same thing happens to me when I hear "Nothing But Love" Mr. Big. Both songs are my favorites and both bands made music at a time of my life when I discovered not only music, but teen age angst :D

I very much like listening to the oldies. They always bring back all the memories of the time, as you say, laughter, joy, and tears too. I still keep a collection of CDs of the oldies, and one song which I never get tired of listening to is "Tennessee Waltz". Beautiful lyric and very enchanting waltz music. That brings back all the memeries of the time.

Chopin takes my breath away. Clare De Lune takes me back to my new Orleans trip . I heard this piece of music as I saw a sunset on one side of the train and the moon on the other. ABBA makes me smile. you can't help but smile when hearing their work.

Classical Music is a genre long forgotten. But we often just fail to recognize that a lot of our songs today our heavily influenced by the classic pieces of old.

classical music. Reminds me of how I used to listen to that genre. I was listening to mozart and the like, when I was writing the manuscript for my undergraduate thesis. :D
