After the recent dispute with a good friend and how a friend blurped out his quoting example, "what if someone says you're fat....", seriously I lose my sleep the entire night.
I didnt know people calling me "fat" can be such a huge impact on me. I just can't afford to let this fat issue making me sad and feeling rather depressed.
This evening I walked about 1.7km and burn 100 calories and I hope this will continue till my weight drop to below 100 lbs.
I just can longer bare the humiliation as a fat person. Time to act.
I welcome all you guy's support. :) HUGSS xoxo

Firstly, I think that you have a problem with your sense of self worth, if you would lose sleep because someone told you you are fat. If you are however obese, then simply need to learn to eat healthy and exercise daily.
I once had an anorexic tell me I was fat! Me! Fabulous me! Learn to be comfortable with yourself and only pay attention to friends who criticize you and give you suggestions. The above-mentioned friend may never have been a friend.

I have been chubby ever since I stopped playing games. I played alot of badminton when I was younger but recently, been more than a year, I stopped playing it because I can't find anymore playing partners.
I don't have anorexic telling me I am fat. I have thinner friend telling me so and my body mass and index prove it right. Im 5ft 3 and I weight at 165 lbs!!!
I am getting more and more difficult shopping for the right clothing and I have to squueeezeeee in the trousers!
It has nothing to do with self worth. I'm not living in denial and I know my problem. It's just the ugly truth having a friend telling me that I am fat.

I wish you the best too. I have all of these exercise machines but don't use them like I should. Just don't try to over do it. Go for it.

Hey Jacklin!
I've seen some of your photos on Facebook and I think you look just fine. For those people who have called you "fat", I reckon they just don't know the effects and consequences a statement can make to someone else, and they obviously never thought of putting themselves into somebody else's shoes. My advice is, be confident about your looks and appearance because while some people may be critical and judging your physical appearance, beauty is always in the eye of the beholder and someone else might think you look fabulous and gorgeous. Besides, what matters more than physical appearance is your personality, beliefs and principles in life. But in the meantime, doing the evening walk to lose a bit of weight is an awesome step to achieve a better weight and more importantly, good health. Like the other myLotters, I am behind you all the way too and support you 100%!

Haha, I don't think there's anything to be shy about..... Well, it's a good thing that your doc friend apologized in the end, but it's also a good thing that you've taken the criticism constructively. Let's just hope that things will only get better from now on......

Hi Gerald,
(This is sooo shy) but thanks for looking out at my FB. I hope to lose weight so that I can get into tinnier trousers and dresses. You know, these days, they have smaller size of clothing line at the stores which is making it tougher for people who are slightly obese to get 'em.
Hmm, yeah, in a good way, his remarks was offensive but he apologized in the end.
He was quoting this example, so that I could understand and feel as to how he felt when he was hurt by the Landlord's scolding.
P/S: this friend is a doc. :P which makes the scolding worse

I have been wanting to lose my weight too. Had been working intensely, and also saw some results couple months ago, but right now I'm so lazy and can't be bothered. I just hope this laziness gets away from me so I can exercise and be in shape again. It's summer already and I haven't been able to get my ideal weight. I am o going to exercise from tomorrow on. Good luck to the both of us. Let's do it

Good luck to you! Just like you, I'm a little overweight and I don't like it at all. It's been 4 years now since I started getting fat and gaining all these pounds I'm carrying right now. It's really hard to set a goal when it comes to losing weight but still, I try my best. It's best to do it now than regret it later. Health is wealth as they say so I am wishing you all the luck on your weight loss goal. I hope you get focused and stay strong. Let us know of your achievements okay?

Babystar,
Don't get discouraged. Those who are on meds still can lose weight. Walking is the best workout and it has been proven to help to maintain your health and losing the weight.
You shouldn't QUIT your meal and starve yourself from eating food. When you starve, you are going to carve for more food!
Eat more live food and never forget minerals and vitamins.
I recommend you to read JON GABRIEL METHOD of losing weight. Trust me, when I say, you gonna like it. ;)
Thanks babystar1. We all can do it!
xoxo

Oh people can be so rude sometimes. They just don't think about how their words will sound to the other person or the impact. Just be careful not to over do it with the weight loss. Sounds as if you are going about it the right way anyway by exercising and all. You mentioned dropping below 100 lbs and that is really really tiny. You don't want to get too thin.

Go Jackie! Go Jackie! I will be supporting you every step of the way. Do not get discouraged and continue working on it. Some days you will not feel like doing the exercise and you will tell yourself, I will.
Remember we will be encouraging every step of the way. That was excellent for the first day, and remember once you get started the time goes so fast. The results are endless.

Uhm... well, first of all, try to find what your ideal weight should be. I believe this has something to do with your height and your activity. I am a bit alarmed that you want your weight to be below 100 lbs. Unless you are a small person, this seems low.
Uhm... also, I think the best motivation for losing weight would be your own good health, instead of other's perception of your 'fatness' (if there's such a word...). Although I can understand that some may use this as motivation as well.
