Hi all, Am getting married on July sixteen, this year. I never knew about this two months back and I never had interest in getting married before twenty six years of age. All of a sudden, everything is finalized. I don't know where it all initiated but the day is nearby. And the guy whom am going to get married is my relative guy. And more shock and surprise thing is that this guy has been falling in love with me for past ten years. Whereas, I was not even aware of his feelings for me till he told me last week. He is of different religion from me, a Christian. My parents are a combination of both Muslim and Christian. And this guy has been struggling hard to make their parents accept to his marriage with me because he understands my belief that i believe only in arranged marriage which is accepted by parents. So, he was waiting for me for these many years. He knows about me very well and discloses my likes and dislikes in our chats now. I never thought there would be a love history behind my marriage. Though I hated him at first because of his immediate proposal, now am beginning to like him because of his true nature. This is also a surprise to me that how come all of a sudden I changed my mind. I don't know what more is yet to come. How about you people. Does life have turned up immediately for you guys

I hope that your marriage goes well, and congratulations on making the ultimate commitment to your partner. I think that it is often the little surprises in life that end up being the most enjoyable things. It is lovely that your partner had been in love with you for so long, and I am glad that the pair of you are finally having your happy ending together.

I feel sorry for the situation you find yourself in. I see that initially you were not to sure what was happening by as time has gone by you have also developed some liking for the guy. Its quite suprising that he waited for 10 years to tell you about his feelings. Whats important her is that you have said that he is a true guy and also a relative of yours. Marrage is a important decision and just cannot happen all of a sudden. So make a wise decision and make it correctly.

hi jaffna from arranged marriage to love marrage I sure do wish you all the best on your coming marriage. Love is best for sure and I can say'that having been a widow for a long time. My 33 years with the man I love could only have been better had he lived longer to reach our golden years together. It sounds to me like you have a great basis for a lovely happy marriage as you have both opened up to each other and had open communication which is so great for making a great marriage.
