Hi Capt. I would have called the law right then when I heard the shots had I been the agent. Hope the guy wasn't killed while the agent was on the phone.

It was years ago and we actually tried to report the incident years ago. the management tried to hide things, we never get to know.

Hi Capt. Hope that no one was hurt by that shooting. It would have drove me nuts not knowing. If it had been me I would have reported it myself for the safety of anyone and everyone.

Hi, CaptAlbertWhisker. If I was on the other end of the phone, this call would have made me creep out too! When you hear calls that are creepy, do you notify your boss about what you have heard? I think that these calls should not be quickly passed up as a silly prank. It could very well be actually real and true.

That is indeed a creepy call. I previously work in an airline account that handles domestic US and international flights. One of the creepiest call I have is a customer who wants to book a flight from LAX to Hawaii. After a few conversation, he started asking if I know Boracay. Then the caller starts using obscene Tagalog words. My team lead is actually listening to my call during that time and ask me have a closing spiel and end the call. I just found out that that specific customer calls us mostly once or twice a day and basically doing the same thing all over again.

Hi! We have the same experience when I was working in a call center industry. I, myself experience the same thing but the customer on the other line can't hold their laughs, so mine is a prank call. But your story is kinda serious and it seems a real one. It's very scary especially you're the last person whom the customer talked to. Creepy..

Those Prank callers , they have no life. I heard in another call center there is a case where the agent talks to a client with stroke attack in the middle of the call. can you make some sort of a reenactment of the call?

That's creepy. I myself is working on a call center industry for nearly 5 years now. And thank God I have not experienced those creepy side of stories yet. I never wish to encounter one though. It seems that those situations are unavoidable sometimes. I'm working for a broadband account offshore.

By far in my 7 years I only encountered 5 creepy calls, those two are the ones I shared by far. All along I thought irate callers and prank calls are the worst,

I worked as a collections agent way back 2008. Most of the time, we only get answering machines or people just hang up on us because they know we are debt collectors. One night, I was on the middle of my ship and a call came in. The client's first name was Constance. I was "awakened" by the response because the voice on the other line was really creepy. It was the voice of a really old woman who sounded like she was wheezing. I recited the usual intro but there was no response. All I heard were quiet sobs and wheezing on the other line. I said hello a couple of times to confirm if she was still listening. And her response totally freaked me out. She said, "Yes... HELP ME...", while sobbing and wheezing. I immediately called my supervisor who is notorious for being firm and assertive with customers. We checked the profile and it turned out that Constance was 98 years old. My manager spoke to her and after a few exchanges he was saying, "Ma'am, are you okay?". He looked as freaked out as I was. He waited for a couple of minutes more and courteously ended the conversation with Constance . We never got a clear response from her. I can't forget her voice. It still gives me the creeps until now.

that was disturbing, she must be having a heart attack or something, did you get an update what really happened to her or is your company like mine, hiding information to such influence.

I was a Customer Service Rep for a satellite company when I used to get creepy, dirty old man calls. Upon answering the phone, a heavy-breathing man would slyly tell me the channel of the pay-per-view movie he wanted to order. Of course, I would have to say the title of the movie out loud to confirm I had the order correct. Let me just say, he was not ordering Mary Poppins.

I have a feeling what he ordered can be only watched by people 18 years of age and Above. there is A female agent here who felt molested in phone by a perv too. the client is moaning, talking dirty ans asks her the color of her underwear.
