I do take down notes during lesson. But I find it extremely difficult to memorize information from my notes . I can't remember the information in my notes. Thus, i don't do well with my exams. Can somebody tell me how to remember information clearly. And if possible help me remember the information just by looking at it once? Perhaps a special kind of note. Or an exercise?

I have to write things down and then repeat them in my head at the end of the day after I have been in a lesson. When I am preparing for an exam, I have to write things and stick them all over my house so that I will have to walk past them and therefore read them several times every single day. It is only then that I can be sure that they will stick in my memory because I have read them that many times. It would probably work for you, too, just make sure that you set aside enough time to learn the information, as cramming will never work at all.

Hello alvanloh! I think we had the same problem before. In my experience before I took my board exam, someone taught us how to memorize words more easily. In my case before I always forget easily what I have studied, but when he taught us this method, I started to improve.
First, you need to understand what you are reading. You can translate it in your own words.
Second is that you need to write it all down in a paper like an outline, so that you'll know if it really retained in your mind.
3rd thing is that if you still have difficulties in memorizing after outlining, you need to develop a acronym for what you are studying. For example (H for hypertension, G for gall bladder, etc..) if you're still not doing good, you can make stories about what you are studying and in this case you are also enjoying.

Okay, noted. I will try your method of remembering. So thanks for the advice. Anyway, what do you mean by write it all down in a paper like and outline? I don't understand the outline part. Do you mean underlining it or what? I dare not use acronym because I'm afraid that i will use them in my written paper.
