Write blog to get in touch with my friends!

I think it's a good idea, if your friends know about your blog and will read it. I have several blogs and my internet friends read them, not to keep in touch so much as to cover topics we're all interested in. Some of my "real life" friends as well as my extended family don't even know I write blogs, so that doesn't work as well.

How exactly do you think writing a blog will help you get in touch with friends? Do you have an unusual name you could use? I do. But I'm pretty sure people wouldn't be looking for me in the blog section. I'm not much of a talker so this probably would't be my route of choice. I'm not knocking your idea. I was just curious how it would work. Best Wishes!

Blogging is becoming very popular these days, but I have not used it so far. Internet no doubt is very useful for communication, business or personal. Whenever I travel overseas, the way I keep in touch with my colleagues and friends back home is through emailing. Blogging is some thing I still have to learn doing.

Yes blogging helps, but I'm not the talkative type of person so blogging is too much task for me. Instead of blogging I use twitter and facebook instead to atleast update people on what's happening in my life.
