i cannot add debit or credit card in my paypal account?

it kept on saying it is denied by the bank.. but i do not think it is really declined. i mean, its two cards of different bank and both have balances... i wonder why this is the case? geesh.. i think its just with paypal..
what do you think? anyone has experienced this? please help?
i already cut off the original card i used to verify the account and have closed it and im maintaining another card... please anyone help... thank you in advance.

Hi , am at the exact situation where you are , as like i have also got a debit card yesterday and it is also showing same sort of error with paypal , and am also thinking to post about it in mylot , but youve done it before me ! Thanks , may be i will also keep track of this discussion

Please check up. You have to add a credit card and not debit card. for me I was able to attach a credit card and it was sorted out. have a nice day.

hi ravi, thank you for your discussion. in paypal... it also allows you to add a debit card as long as it has a mastercard or visa logo. not sure if its just press release or what?
also, i have another card but its not accepting that card which why i am confused why it is not accepting my other card.
