Is there any review site that pays for writing reviews of gadgets etc.? I know that there was ciao. It paid good for its users. However, I heard that it is now restricted only for the US users. Is there any such site for the Indian users too? Please do contribute.

Are you member of microworkers. They offer some review for website, software etc. You check them for review task. And they will pay you good amount for that. Moreover there are many other jobs doing which you can make some good money online.

I have been writing reviews at "Review Stream" for some time now. This is a site where you can writie brief reviews on a variety of topics, things you come across in your day-to-day activities, movies, shopping, hotels, restaurants, travel, and so on, and get paid once the review submitted is approved. If you like writing reviews, then you might want to take a look at this site.

As another user has suggested, Reviewstream.com is a good website to consider. They pay pretty high, but if you don't write to their specifications, you'll get a lot of rejections. Also try not to write on products that you know thousands of others would write on. The more expensive the gadget, the more likely it is you'll get accepted. They also prefer you write based on your "personal experience", as in. You physically own the gadget/appliance/etc.

I would suggest ReviewStream. This is the only site I know that pays non-US citizens. However, the shut my account down because of a mistake I made. And they thought I was plagiarizing. Anyway, in the recent months, it does look like ReviewStream is very selective in payment of reviews. As such, be prepared to write LOTS of reviews to reach $50 cashout. Payment by Paypal, my favourite!

Ciao used to be the best site for writing reviews. But unfortunately it closed down. If you want to write review then you can try reviewstream.com, but be ready for a good amount of rejections there even for a 300 word review. Moreover they pay mostly at the bulk rate that is 1/5 of what they display on the site.
I am a member of Epinions.com but I am not active there. That site is more like Ciao but it has a very high payout rate. It will pay you once you accumulate $100 by cheque. Other than these I don't think there is any good site for review writing specific for Indians out there.

Hi, like the others have already posted..I recently joined reviewstream also. I submitted 7 reviews of about 400 words each. They were mixed, some on food, some on movies and some on locations. Of the 7, 2 were rejected for not being specific enough. I also had to resubmit the other 5 and get paid at the bulk rate of .30 cents each because they did not want to pay for them at the regular rate. When they did pay me, they still stated that my reviews were not specific enough. I am not sure how I could get more specific but at any rate..they do accept people from everywhere and the payout would be 30 dollars if you are working with a current regular pay of 1.50. I imagine if you could get them to accept your reviews then, you could do quite well there but, I would not expect much. I have not found any other sites that pay for reviews.

I'm not sure about which websites you can do that on.. But I know mylot does have a lot of tasks for that type of thing. I have completed many tasks where you have to write a 1 page review. Then I submitted them and got 1-4 dollars just for writing a review. So check out the mylot tasks!
