Recently a friend had a house fire. The family all got out, but they lost everything, including all their family photos. I couldn't imagine losing our family pictures. My husband and I have pictures from when we were little and then all the pictures of our children growing up. I decided to do something to keep our memories safe. First thing I did was to start scanning all our photos onto our computer. I also scanned important documents while I was at it. When I found a good sale on usb sticks, I bought two. Then I put all the photos onto both of the usb sticks. I put one of the sticks in our fire proof safe and the other one I put into our digital picture frame. I feel alot better knowing that my pictures are safer. How are you protecting your memories??
