I'm curious about this. What exactly do we see from our partners so that we can believe in him/her. Most people around me who are not married can simply said that " if he/she had a lot of money then I'm sure to live happily with him/her for the rest of my life " After I heard about it I wondered if it was all seen from how much money do you have to own happiness. Or is it because I live around people who are materialistic?

Maybe it's just a joke what you heard. I know some who make jokes like that. I'm not married yet but I'm confident I'll be able to live with my girl for the rest of my life. She has understanding that I lack, she supports me 101% in anything that I wanna do, she has patience that I also lack, maybe that's why they say "better half". It's because she has all the things that I lack and maybe that's why I also love her so much.

My husband and i may not have much money, or have some financial problems at times, but we are happy. I am confident living with him. That's because, he is a very responsible and considerate man. I would go to work ahead of him and he will still be sleeping. yet, when i arrive home , the bedroom is well kept. AT night, i can sleep without caring if the doors and windows are still open, because i am sure he will inspect the whole house before he goes to bed, to check if everything is locked. I feel so safe with my husband.

For me, money could never buy more happiness to where nothing else would count. Yes, money is nice and a necessity in order to survive, but a Relationship takes way more than that. For me, Marriage takes Love, Trust and willingness to communicate and be able to talk about anything. It is also about caring about them, and being willing to help in the good times and the bad. No one ever said it would be easy, but most people forget about these aspects and never stand a chance to last.
