I am a bit afraid of BIG spiders.. Help me how to be strong... :(

For the last 30 years, I am afraid of very big spiders and I don't know why, although small spiders which are fine with me to handle. There is a sense of fear when it comes to big, ugly spiders (big as a bird and legs stretches half a foot. I don't even intend to kill them, I saw one this evening near my bathroom. I tried to move it away, got a table food cover and trapped it there. Problem is I don't want to open the cover and it might jump right at me. Need some help......

help is already late, that spider is already escaped.... i am very scared of spider too especially the very hairy big but thin legs.... when i see those very thin fangs, ggrrrrr, i always carry my insect sprayer and they all eliminated.....

I am the exact opposite! I just love those huge spiders that people keep as pets. It's the little ones that get me. I can't stand touching them and I hate the ones that hop! I know it's an irrational fear but I just can't overcome it.
