So a few days ago Blizzard made World of Warcraft free-to-play only up to level 20 though, but still thats an awesome leap.

What would happen once you reach level 20? Would it kick you out of the game immediately to subscribe?

I believe at level 20 you just stop getting xp. You can get new items and still play the game, but you canot advance in level. This limits you to the dungeons, armour, skills, and much more that is available in the full game. So to answer your question, no, it does notkick you out of the game and make you subscribe. The gameplay just taunts you to subscribe, which usually works :P

When Guild Wars 2 comes out it will demolish Wow so I think thats why Blizzard is doing that since people would probably choose Guild Wars 2 over Wow

The cynic in me says that they know it's coming to end-of-life, so they're trying to plug it for all its worth while it'll still attract customers. Still a cool move.
