I am trying to resolved my "unresolved" topic/s way back months ago (months and year old)
I am too engrossed reading those long time responses and some made me smile, bringing me back to those past months (nostalgic eh)
And,I clicked one response that really made me feel it's the best one (fine it's done)
Then,I noticed I haven't seen that mylotter for a long time,so i checked the profile and it gives me my home page,
....means,that mylotter deleted his/her profile.... (`_`)
So,I've given best response to a member who doesn't exists anymore (hehehe)
Have you ever done same thing,I've just did ?
This is really surprising to me...I never thought deleted profile can still receives best response.
Are you aware of this dear mylotter? (and I am left behind dumb...hehehe)
Good morning/evening everyone

hi jaiho,
uhhmmm....I have some unresolved issues
I think you can still give them BR though their account still don't exist, like you can still see their response but not their profile.
Not have done this should I try
get some sleep

GOOD MORNING ! I normally resolve issues within 7/8 days depending on the nature of content. I have not faced such a situation so far.
In fact your experience can indicate that all mylotters should decide to settle within a period of 7 to 8 days from the date of starting the discussion. This will prevent people from only starting discussion and not bothering to allot time to give reply comments. The period of 7 to 8 days will tell the situation prevalent at that time.
Let me check up how many discussions I have not resolved? I have nearly 12 issues. Let me resolve them quickly. thanks for bringing an awareness to this issue.
Have the rains stopped now in Phil?
have a nice day

I am sorry to hear about the problems in Davao city. How far is it from your place. I suggest that whenever you have time please identify the best response for discussions wherein we have not received in the last 7/8 days. this will give you more number of days for discussions. have a nice day.

You don't actually have to identify a best response at all... sometimes, there just isn't one and you don't have to force yourself to choose. It's not an obligation to do so but it's nice to choose one if you feel a person merits it

Davao is far from my place.
It's on the other island called Mindano..while i am here in the island called Luzon (Philippine is divided into 3 major islands...LUZON,VISAYAS and MINDANAO)

I don't know if I've ever given a best response to someone that is no longer participating here because I wouldn't check that. It wouldn't matter to me, either way, though. A best response is a best response. At the time the person contributed, they gave the response most deserving of what TheBoozeBrothers accurately terms "bragging rights" Those bragging rights are about the posting not the person or profile

Hi Jaiho.
You are not alone as I too in the beginning reviewed one of my discussions and was impressed with a response. After awarding the BR, I too went to the profile and noticed that the member was no longer here. I felt awwhed, as I wondered if it matter or not. At any rate you did the right thing because you selected the Best Response of all Responses therefore, you are a great myLot membe who based the BR to the deserving.
Sadly the member who received it will not have seen it but at least it is on record that they did a good job in your discussion.
Thanks for posting this discussion as I wondered about my doing so too. Have a Great Day!

hello hwg,
Thanks for the good words I do appreciate it.
When i give my best response I don't base it or don't look if the mylotter is in my lists or my personal friend, but yes i really base it from the response given.
I didn't realized I had given the best response to a non-exist mylotter.
thanks for your response and have a great weekend ahead

Sure I would. I give the BR to the response which deserves it, and though I normally would look at the profile of the person who gave the response, it wouldn't matter to me if he/she has deleter his/her profile. His/her answer is still there and deserves the BR.

Oh i have never encountered that. So far, when i give a best response, they are okay. Well, the BR doesn't give an earning anyway. So it's not wasted in the real sense of the word.
Sad though, that the person didn't ever know that her response was given the BR!

hello dear ,
Yes we don't earn from best response ,how I wish we will be given a bonus to each best responses that we received aint?
I am sure that will give us reason and inspiration to give best responses to each topic and also will motivate other to write more instead of a one line response (hehehe)
Have a great weekend ahead my dear friend

Jai beti
Yes it has happened with me too, last week i gave BR to a response from a lady member, who posts discussion on medicinal values of food etc, but because i was not seeing new discussions from her in email from mylot, she is my friend, i checked her profile to see when was she active last, i was really surprized , she was no more in mylot..
Thanks for sharing
Happy mylotting, cheers.

dear maa,
That's really sad when we find that some friend leave mylot.
I guess I know who you were referring too,she is also my friend and I just find out that she is also not here in mylot.
So sad because she's one of the good topic starter and an active mylot member.
Thanks for all the blessings and love maa

Yes I always give best response on my every topic and mostly I preserve which one is exactly the best one before marking it best. Why?
Because people who post replies in your topics we must admire their hard work which help them to maintain their status. Also I give positive + to those all who reply to my topic and enhance its visibility. Its an acknowledgement for their good work as well.
