Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon is epic!

I watched it last night - alone. Because if ever I'll watch it with friends, they would end up talking or asking questions and it kind of annoys me because I want to concentrate on the movie. It's too bad though that I can't watch it with my boyfriend.
According to interviews, this film is said to be the "make up film" of the director and producer because they have admitted that Revenge of the Fallen was a disappointment.
I watched this film on an Imax theater on 3D because I know it will always be worth it. And yes, very expensive, too. LOL. But it was worth it.
Though I admit there are some scenes that is little awkward because of the transition but overall - it's very nice. If you're a big Transformer fans, you will feel that it's never be going to be the same again since there are hearsays that it's going to be the last one.
My highlights of the films are the 2 Johns - John Turturo and John Malcovich. These guys are so funny in the film. I was surprised to see Patrick Dempsey here. He has a good role in the film. And yes, there are some funny scenes tehre too that can make you really laugh.
Best part are the autobots in action. Still never fails to give me goosebumps whenever Optimus Prime is in war mode. I love him!
I hope you guys should watch it. It's really worth it.

I have heard a lot of positive feedback for the hottest movie in the town. Unfortunately, I have not watched it yet. My husband and I are planning to watch it in 3d some time this week. But due to the hectic schedule as I'm going to give birth soon, it may re-dated. And for sure, I will be watching this movie as I have started watching the beginning on large screens.

Hi, genesis! Wow. The coming of your baby is much, much, more exciting than Transofrmers. I wish you well my friend. I hope everything will turn out fine. Please give us an update soon.
My prayers for you and your baby's safety. God bless you both always.

It is on my summer movie list. Now all I have to do is find the time. Oh, and a babysitter! I am looking forward to it.

I also went to see the movie in 3D yesterday and really enjoyed it. I hope it won't be the last movie, though it is hard to say whether it will be or not. The sppech Optimus made at the end does make it seem like it will continue but I won't say anything further as I don't want to spoil it for anyone else who hasn't seen it. It cost $8.00 to see the movie where we went to see it in 3D at.

True. From this speech, somehow, there's a hint that it's gonna be the last one.

been planning to watch this one with my four-year old daughter but i'm having second thoughts since the movie might be too violent for my daughter. anyway, i'm reading through a number of reviews to see if she can watch and enjoy the movie. since you've watched the movie, do you think it is alright for a four year old daughter to watch it? your thoughts will be much appreciated.
another option for me is to watch this movie with friends from the office. not sure if i want to proceed with this because the last time we planned to watch a movie, it was fast 5, we ended up just having dinner instead because we couldn't get seats together. anyway, i might just go solo to watch this one but i have a nagging feeling that i'll feel guilty about not watching it together with my daughter. lol!
anyway, glad that you had fun watching the movie. like i said above, there are times i've watched movies by myself before and really enjoyed the experience. all i need to do is get my large cola, a hotdog sandwich complete with all the trimmings, a bag of pop corn, and a comfy seat and i'm all set to enjoy myself.
for the movie itself, always been a big fan of the animated series. liked the first and second installments but i kinda felt that it lacked action especially in the fighting scenes between the autobots and decepticons so hopefully, the third one will have lots of great fighting sequences.

Hi, Allen. My seatmates yesterday in the theater were mostly dad's with their kids. Ages 4-7 year olds. So I am positive it is alright. There's a little violence but too hard to notice sometimes because your eyes are glued to the robots in actions.
Nothing beats an experience when it's just between you and the movie. I am a movie fanatic so that's why I am very sure of going to see with just myself. hope you'll have a good time with your family.

thanks for the input totally.
haven't read any reviews yet but planning to do so tomorrow. my days-off are tuesday and wednesday and i'm planning to take my daughter to the movies on either of those days.
i agree that nothing beats the bonding time between family members regardless of the activity. i'm looking forward to have more fun activities shared with my daughter.
i used to consider myself as a movie fanatic back when i was single as i always made it a point to watch at least two movies a week. used to write movie reviews for a website so my expenses were covered. i often times get invited to premier nights or advance screenings so it was fun. had to give up the gig though when my work schedule got crazier.

thanks for the best response!
i haven't told my daughter that we'll be watching the movie this week lest she gets all excited and gets preoccupied with the thought of watching the movie and she doesn't get anything done at school or at home.
cheers!

You're right, there were some awkward scenes due to transitions. I think that's Michael Bay's weakness. If you look closely, there were also awkward transitions in the first two movies. If it wasn't for the cool computer graphics they've smacked in there, I wouldn't have enjoyed the whole thing.

Yep. He's more of the action type of guy. The first one is better though. The second one, I was half disappointed.
What I love about this movie is no one is outshining anyone. They all have good scenes.

That's true. I envy Shaia, though. He had two supermodels as his leading lady just for this movie. They are SUPER HOT.

Will definitely watch it with my son on 3D. He has never failed to watch a single transformer movie. In fact he remembers all the autobots and the decepticons ahhaah! He's quite funny when he watches and he points out to me who that robot is. I couldn't seem to remember each and everyone of them except for Bumblebee and Optimus Prime!

I even had a hard time memorizing their names, too, before. I have to jot it down.
Optimus and Bumblebee are the crowds favorite.

bumblebee is my daughter's favorite autobot. i on the other hand was cheering the decepticons. i'm a big shockwave fan and although i would have preferred the shockwave that transforms into a radio, the shockwave character in the movie has a prominent part and i like it as well.

IT sounds great and it looks good from all of the preview I have seen. I will watch it when it comes out on DVD though. I wish we could afford to go watch it in the theaters. Thanks so much for the review of it.

Watched it last night with my BF. Hope I didn't make you feel jealous, TU!
Well, like the first two, Transformers 3 is amazing. I super love the effects, the battle scenes, the humor, the actors except for the new girl.
Well maybe I'm just too close-minded, unreceptive to change, but I'm sorry i just don't like her in that movie. If it were up to me, the movie would have survived without a leading lady.
The lack of proper transition from Fox to Whiteley just left me so unsatisfied. A little cameo role wouldn't have hurt and would have allowed me to process that there is someone new. Do you get what I mean?
That was the only thing that I didn't like.

Hiya TD,
Funnily enough I have just been seeing the Trailers of that very Film on the Television here and it looks very good.
I love the Transformers too and Optimus Prime as well but I really like all of them. I wish they really existed alas I know that they don´t but if they did wow.
Yes if you want to watch a Film that you are looking forward to and everyone is disturbing you it must be a bit annoying for you trying to concentrate.
I don´t know when I will get to see it and where but it does look to be a great one.
Love The Transformers yes.
Hope you enjoyed the Films.
I used to love the Series as well that they had on ages ago now.xxx

Hi, loving angels. It is a great movie. The best among the three actually because all the cast doesn't outshine each other. They all have their highlights in the movie.

Hiya TD,
Well this is making me more determined than ever to see this Film. Over the next few weeks will not be a good idea to see it as we will be in Fiestas here from next week and it will be so crowded as well.
The Cinemas will be full to the top. At least the ones that are left I mean.
No matter I will get to see it someway or another quite soon.
We are great Fans of the Transformers here as well.xxx

I will definitely watch it! Or course with a friend. I know that questions or comments will definitely rise during the film watching but still, I prefer watching it with someone.
Anyways, I am not a big fan but I watched both two previous movies before. I don't know what made them say that the second movie was a disappointment because I enjoyed it too, as well as the first movie.
Since I got some ideas on how the movie goes, it made me more excited in seeing this movie. I want how the new lead girl (don't know her name) will portray the role and if she deserves it. Hehehe.. Sunday, Sunday is the day! Wish there would be no rain!. :)

Her name is Rose Huntington Whitely. She's not bad at all though I must admit Megan is irreplaceable but there's something about Rose that stands out - very elegant and sophisticated. Megan's opposite.
You and your friends should watched it. Very nice movie. I can't wait on the DVD release.

It would be so amazing to see this movie in 3d! I plan on watching it before it goes out of theaters. I have heard that it is a great movie, but someone on TV said it wasn't good at all- but critics usually don't like any movies, so I am sure it will be wonderful.

Hmmm.. we all have different takes on how we feel about the movie and sometimes, critics are too harsh in their reviews. LOL.
I will recommend this movie to you my friend,.

If you think this movie is great, your probably just in it for the empty-head special effects. Its spectacular 3D effects are top notch. They dragged the movies for just to long. The movie is very dull. And no more Megan Fox. How is it exciting anymore? I was amused that Michael bay admitted Transformers 2 sucked and think that the 3rd would do better... Overall, the storyline suck.
