The showing of Transformers 3 was already started yesterday June 29,2011 at IMAX theatre Mall of Asia(MOA),philippines. We have decided to watch this movie in 3D because of the trailer that shows a very good effects when you watch it in 3D IMAX HUGE SCREEN. However, during the show of this movie. We had headache and after we have watch it all of us feel dizziness. Nevertheless, the movie was good. Do you feel the same thing? what can you say about the effects of 3D in transformers 3 compared to other movies release by 3D? What do you think the reason why we had this kind of feeling headaches and dizziness? or worst vomiting? I need your opinion about this.

I think ANY effect that made me dizzy & nauseated that I'd ALWAYS watch the 2d movie first!!! There's NO effects that are worth getting sick over!!!!

I've NEVER been able to see anything in 3D. There's a certain percentage of the population that has this problem. If you go to the above link, the problem is explained about the headaches & nausea!!! Actually, you were LUCKY your side effects were no worse than they were. 3D has been known to cause disorientation, cramps, and epileptic seizures. Since I can't see in 3D, I'm surely NOT going to pay EXTRA to go see a 3D movie or buy a 3D television or DVD player!!!

Thanks for starting this discussion. I was contemplating on seeing this film on Sunday with my hubby and we are discussing whether we should see it in 2d or 3d. I had the same notion that a 3d effect would make me feel nauseaous. Now that you've mentioned it in your discussion and with the comments that you got, I am now convince to just watch the film in 2d. Plus, it's way cheaper (half the price) than the 3d version.

I had the same experience. The movie had too many fast-moving scenes, maybe that's why we experienced dizzyness. Adding the fact that it's 3d makes it even worse because what it actually does is alter the direction of our eyes. It's a little like being cross-eyed, only slightly.

yes, thanks for posting this. I wonder whether it was worthwhile to catch the 3d version...but given your comments, i will think twice now.
