My reason why "earnings" shouldn't be focus too much...

Yeah, we know it's a great site, tons of new ones and veterans have said that many times. some people think it's really unique because you get paid for sharing ideas and all.
The Vets.
.No, Veterans not Veterinarians have kept saying that mylot is fun for never ending socializing, sharing ideas and conversations. You hear that crap all the time and am sure probably have had enough with that reason.
Well, now let give an example why it should just fun..
You know, when ever i get an hold of this money, IT DOESN'T LAST a WEEK because i transformed into a Jekyll
when it comes to my earnings, I couldn't stop until it's gone.
It feels Happy when you get it but it becomes frustrating when you spend it. that's where addiction comes, the popular known mylot addiction. but sometimes i don't think it can always be a positive addiction, because they're are three things that are suffering when it is too much; My eyes, my hands, and my CPU (crashed in 2009).
Yeah, some people are amused when they say It's humane me because I buy it for my dog or cat. Or other things, but i couldn't SAVE. yesterday, I withdraw my last 4$ on my card during my last beneficial pay (from mylot), that lasted a day. What I feel? Good but at least i used my Internets worth since the pay is fixed.But BAD because am broke again. But now recently I feel too scared to spend it. [/b] I WANT TO SAVE IT...i hated myself spending it.
Just Have FUN socializing. am not sure if it's obsessing for making too many topics because i just like to THINK a lot these days then say it as many as possible. you know emptying my mind.
That's why as a veteran I tell you, Don't come here for MONEY if you don't like to socialize. because you can't last,specially if you start having work(offline) and getting frustrated for not my-lotting. if you have work/school and frustrated for not spending enough mylot, that's addiction,that's negative and not good.
That reminds me, I should start responding again some day, before I miss those discussions being Que by new ones.
Oh, well, Just want to let you know. This month it's going to be twenty two or three $$ but I STOP being obsess. I just started having FUN..obsessively FUN, right?
The point is have FUN, forget the money when doing mylot, surprise yourself.at least once in a while.

To be honest I am not after the payment for me it's just a bonus because this is site is place where you can tell all your feelings, share your ideas and you can learn new things from other members.

Hi letran knight: I couldn't explain your reasons better. That is actually why I only participate on Mylot when I have the time and at the same time when I really feelinterested on the discussion. I am not here just for the money. In my case I spend it to buy CDs and DVDs because it's a hobby. I don't think about the site as a way to become rich or I'd become frustrating and of course I enjoy my experience. That's the reason why I have stayed here and I always come back. That's the real reason why you don't care too much about how you are earning. This is a social network.

Well, I think you've got the process, learning is fun, and earning makes it more enjoyable.. I just hope my lot members will post more related and up to date information and not just a typical post to start a thread of discussion. We shall start on ourselves by thinking what kind of information do we have to share, who are those people that are much interested in that information and who will be the most active and informative one that will reply on our discussion. Each discussion must contain related information so that we do not only earn, but we also learn and have more fun..

yeah you are right, we must just have fun when we are posting or commenting on discussions in mylot so we are more comfortable in responding. Actually sometimes I am forget to comment because I am hooked up in reading the discussions.

In my case, whenever i go to Mylot, i really choose the topics to respond to. I get to enjoy responding because i like them. I answer to my heart's desire.

That's true, mylot is good earning site that offer more than just "earning" but also having fun.In the beginning I always try to count the number of my rank and the $$ I've got, but see, time by time, I got bored and almost stress to count of mine and try to let it flow even I chase my first pay out.After more enjoy mylot, I know I have a better quality to post and share and it's good for me :-)

I agree. I think we earn roughly a penny per post we make here. It takes a while for the change to add up. I just come here for the fun of it also and if I reach payout, then that is great too.

I joined MyLot, because I was interested when I saw someone was responding to discussions on MyLot, and I saw him, so enjoy. I became curious, and finally joined. I logged in MyLot to spend leisure time, and I really enjoyed, and I feel good. Now, I can fill my spare time with MyLot login. The money I get from MyLot, I regard it as a gift.

Me too is just having fun here in mylot. If not, maybe I will be cashouting every month but as I only sit in front of my PC when the children are not at home. I just love commenting on others posts and educate myself on other lotters inputs.

It is like I recommend to all new and any member really, which is enjoy the site, your time while logged in and simply allow the earnings to flow. Never track and or strive big here as then it would become a chore. That chore feeling will cause anyone to dislike myLot and we can't have that can we? LOL
I am glad to hear though that you use it wisely with the pet needs. I wish you great success enjoying the site and the bigger bonus next month.

I couldn't agree more. The more I focused on making money off the site, the less I enjoyed my time on here. I occasionally look to see what my earnings are, but that is maybe once a week. I will get paid when I get paid, and in the mean time I have found a place that I can vent when I need to, and have had some good conversation, and some not so good conversations.

I cant save my mylot earnings too, I use them for my electric bills because I want to save my salary for my ambitious project in progress that can change my life for real. About socializing, I dont fail much on that part, I always make sure no one is left out, with the exception of trolls and those people turning this place into competition.

I agree with what you said. We should not focus on the earnings so we can enjoy our posting here in my Lot. It is good to know that a legit website is ready to pay you for a reasonable price. I am not staying longer hours here since I a also have a full time job. But I have to make sure that my posts keep coming before the day ends. Happy posting to all of us! :)

I know what you mean. I have started in mylot in 2009 and after getting only $6 after 4 months, I easily gave up. It seemed hopeless to earn any money here. But now, I am back and I'm just trying to enjoy the discussions and not think so much about the money. I have been here for a month and I only have $2.56 in my earnings. And to think I have been trying to reply to an average of 5 discussions per day with really quality responses. still, I am no way near the payout. So, yes, if you focus too much on the earnings, you will only get impatient and depressed. So for newbies out there, just sit back, relax and enjoy the discussions.

I am having fun as I am not earning so much with myLot but as you as yo have described it, may be I am an addict...yes, an addict to mylot as my day is not complete without logging in. I guess some of the members here are not like you, Letran, who cannot see beyond this site as only means of earning money. I learned in my stay here (and I hope mine will be as long as the veterans re) that Mylot allows you to earn money, earn friends and earn knowledge and experience.
I know that focusing on earn that monthly cut-off is a good thing but it is an extra special feeling when somebody does recognizes and respond to my discussions or had the time and effort to comment back.
There are many members here at most them are really enjoying mylot as a site that goes beyond earning. I know some members ask for advice regarding their problems or satisfy a plain curiosity. Others here help to expand a personal view into seeing another view that is completely opposite from their own.
Perhaps, we should hope that some of our newbies and future members will recognize and treat like we old-timers (oops, sorry if I offend anyone) treat and appreciate this site.

I think you should be balanced. Enjoy the site and enjoy watching your earnings grow. Then enjoy your money when you get it for whatever you want to do with it. I will let mine go to paypal to add to all my other earnings. I took $150 out the other day and put it in my bank. I used some of it to order pizza last night. I earn my money from working at home so I like to enjoy it once in awhile. Mylot money will just be another stream of income. Nothing to worry about.

Discussion is a important part of life.Every one talk with each other for solving a problem.Mylot is provide a plate to its user to discuss every possible thing share the new things, ideas and learn new thoughts from mylot with discussion.Every one person has on its opinion and we could not force to a person to change its opinion.Some body log in their mylot account to joy the discussion and learn new thing from other users.It is real mostly people are log in their account for some extra cash.Both of them are not follow quality in the process of response the discussion.1stly user are not participate the discussion for fun but i feel they mostly participate a useless discussion and pass away from good discussion,They are make to way of discourage for discussion starters.2nd type of have aim to earn maximum money from mylot,they also participate in every discussion.Mylot is a slow earning website is realty and people to maximize their earning from mylot.
