I can. Most of the people in my friends list aren't really my TRUE friends. It's better to meet and socialize in person then stay in front of your computer chatting on FB. I prefer physical interaction and sincere talks. These days I just check my FB for any new messages but since I discovered MyLot I prefer to stay longer here because I don't just express myself more freely here but I can also EARN! ^^

Yes, i could. Have never gotten into fb like so many have. If i had to pick between mylot & fb it would definitely be mylot i would choose.I look at fb everyday but i think people put the silliest stuff on there. I especially hate hearing about the same ones aches & pains EVERYDAY.There is a few that do the same thing on mylot. I know everybody has them including myself but had rather talk about something else myself.

There's not much to it anyway... I don't do the games or anything. I just promote my work and that's all .. I say hello to some folks on there, but that is about it.

I can and I've been without facebook for about a year now. After a while it just seemed really dumb to me. Yeah I loved seeing what was going on with everybody but I eventually got tired of it. The friends that I do need to talk to have my number so I'm able to reach them by phone instead of internet. I think my life is a lot better off without facebook.

I totally agree with you. In my case, I don't want to delete my account yet, I also need it to check on what's going on with my old friends. But I'd rather stay here longer than chatting nonsense there. ^_^ Thanks~

Hi,
Well said. Be it Facebook or Twitter, mylot or any site, we make friends, They all are virtual friends. The one you saw in the computer monitor may not be able to recognize in the real life
Like you I too do not indulge too much in chatting. Would be very happy if meet in real life rather.
I can live thousand years without FACEBOOK.

Ahoy a typical confusing question
Let me explain ... You must have created a facebook account with some passion for it (reasons may differ) be it rejoining with friends or chit chatting etc... Now here arises the question can we survive without it ??? It depends on the nature of ur heart as well as ur mind ,,u may be able to live without it even for a life time (if ur heart and mind say " Look man u are crazy abt it !!! Just take it of ur mind)
In other case ur mind and heart may cheer u up to take a look at ur account on FB
Have i convinced u as yet ???

Yes, I can live without facebook. Before i was really addicted to it's applications that i thought i won't be able to live without it. I can say, that was before. At present, i'm not so much in to it and i find it now boring.
I could not agree more that physical interaction is way better than just chatting. But chatting online is also a good alternative for those people who are miles away not to mention, one can really save money than calling their loved ones by phone.

ha! many people would disagree with you. A lot of teenagers especially. People have grown so used to FB that they can't imagine a day without it. Just think: how many websites provide a link to Facebook, or the amount of Facebook apps there are. This is the new trend of social networking. Nowadays, due to the Internet, many people prefer Facebook, Twitter, etc. It is fast, and easy to use.
but still, Facebook doesn't replace face to face contact so i definitely could live without it

Right. Yeah I definitely prefer face to face interaction rather than typing conversations all day. Its more efficient and talking is just more natural and enjoyable. I dont mind typing a lot either though I mean its not dreadfully hard or time consuming, like txting seems to be. Of course I only talk to my real friends and not just acquaintances. I should really only have maybe 20 friends on there but I have over 200. Its just not really socially acceptable to people to see that you only talk to 20 people. 200 looks right. Not sure why. People are just that way I guess. Of course I mean I do know and have interacted with over 200 people so its fun to see who all knows the same people as me.

well fb is nice if you have your friends or acquaintances abroad or family, but it doesn't necessarily you to socialize new friend, i bet is dangerous to exchange information whom you meet online. well I can live without Facebook but i am addicted sometimes to chat there ..

ofcorse. I mean c'mon facebook is not an oxygen that one cannot live without it. hehe that was a joke ofcore. But seriously i dont use facebook at all and i dont like the people who are addicted to facebook. There is no productive work that you can do on facebook except for wasting time.

Hahaha!!!!! what an excellent question!! When i first became a member of facebook, it was literally addicting! i spent more than 15 hours a day on facebook!!! all i did was look for people i knew, meet new "intresting people", (lol) and had long convo. with them ... some people however take it to the next level.. use it for evil purposes such as embarrassing people and posting mean comments- as i too have been a victim of that... maybe for them it might be hard to live without it as this is their purpose in life i guess.. if they have time to do stuff like that, they obviously have nothing better to do with themselves.... as for me, in the begining it was addicting , but i got occupied with school and "other stuff" (lol) so now the most i go on face book would be three times a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH THATS RIGHT!!!! I DID IT! FROM OVER 15 HOURS A DAY TO THREE TIMES A MONTH, I THINK THATS PRETTY GOOD , DON'T YOU TINK???????????

In mylot we can earn a lot: friends, knowledge and money. Usually, I don't use Facebook, I only did so ocasionally to find a special person or a friend who I missed for long time.

Yes. I definitely can live without facebook. Don't get me wrong. I know facebook has done a lot to entertain us, to give us a source of communication but I think it would be wrong to say that a person can't live without facebook. Let's just use it to our advantage but not to depend our lives on it.

Of course i can..i use it rarely and that too when i don't have anything else to do..it has become boring these days..all my facebook friends are not my real friends with whom i want to stay in contact 24/7...i have all my bestfriend's number who are more important to me than these fb friends who just needs someone to pass their time as last resort.

Of course I can. In fact, I haven't open my facebook profile for a half years. I agree with what one of myloters think on the front page. Facebook is attracting antisosial people. I see it on most of teenager in my country. If you really want a real connection with somebody, you need meet him face to face, not by facing your laptop screen.

even i can.. I have a facebook account just for the sake of it.. It serves only one purpose, that no one come to me and says 'hey you arent on facebook!'
I prefer to call people when i wanna talk.

I can live without facebook, though I used FB to get through friends and family, i can still live without it, as long as i have cellphone. ;) When it comes to having new friends thru social media, its not realy a good idea. Especially now, criminals also invade cyber world.
