Will 3d glasses affect the eye sight?

hey guys , recently i got some 3d driver software by which my directx 9 supported games become 3d....but actually what is happening is that even if wear it for an hour or so my eyes stars paining and i get a headache......i love playing games and that to in 3d its awesome....please suggest...
