Hair extensions!

I've had extensions before, human hair extensions that were braided in. They really hurt my head, and just looked odd and unmanageable. The only way i seemed to be able to style my hair, was to wear it loosely tied back! I really want extensions though. My hair is short on one side, and longer on the other, but i want more a distinct difference, so i want one side to be a good bit longer. i don't want really long ridiculous extentions, just longer than shoulder length. i was thinking of buying the hair online and hair extension glue gun, and performing a DIY job, as i'm quite good when it comes to hair and things like that, as is my partner who could give me a hand.. has anyone ever done their own extensions, and what would they recommend??

I'm not really sure why, but the idea of someone else's hair on my head kinda creeps me out. lol. I have no idea about hair extensions. One cool thing that I like is falls, but that's a completely different look. I think it would be easier just to grow your hair out though.

i am trying so hard to grow it lol! its taking FORVER! i actually may end up buying a wig at this rate! haha!
