I kinda went back to memory lane today and suddenly reminded me of the day my big brother got his first job, he pretty much brought everyone in my family something except me and that got me pretty sad and angry and i so totally decided not to talk to him again. So he realizing that, he took me to pizza hut and as we were having a pizza he asked me what i would like to have, i asked for a Flying pony straight away! He laughed so hard and said that he wanted a flying pony too, but they don't really exist! that even got me more sad! Finally we settled for a psp! Haha good old days! so anyways what was the one ridiculous thing you ever wanted to get? I am not sure it wasn't flying pony.

I don´t think it was ridiculous. I would have loved to have a flying pony when I was a child. I also wanted a magic wand and many other magic things. I still want them, but I have found that they exist in other shapes. I guess the most ridiculous thing I wanted to have when I was a child was a room full of cans of tuna in oil, all for myself.

I loved tuna that much when I was little. It seemed that my mom never gave me the amount I wished. Now I´m not that interested. Everything chnges with age.

Lol a room full of tuna wouldn't be appropriate to give a child, so i guess it was a good decision on your parents part, and indeed our wants and preferences changes as we grow up. Like i wanted to be a Cab driver when i was 6 for some reason, now i want to be the CEO of a MNC

I wanted a wand so that I could fulfill all the people wishes. I wanted to make a good people happy and punished all the bad people... Such a dream as a child. Now I know, that good and bad are very subjective to each individual.

Lol, nice story! Guess what, I have something similar, but it's not that hilarious. When I was a kid, I wanted to have some kind of pet. I kept asking for a dog, but my parents kept refusing to fulfill my demands. One day I asked mother again: "Can I have a dog?". She said "No!". Then I asked "But if I can't have a dog, can I at least have a horse?". We sometimes recall this dialogue and it brings a smile to my face.

I can picture that in my mind, and its cute! actually i did that once myself, kept asking my dag for a dog, and one day he said got annoyed so much and told me that it was the last time he is ever going to reply me about the dog and that the answer was still no, i asked for a fish right away, and he agreed lol. He never liked dogs for some reason.

Nope it wasn't a flying pony but i wanted to have a horse. It's something that is difficult to get in my country. I don't want an ordinary horse, i wanted a racing horse. To get that you have to buy it from another country and the customs tax is so expensive and there are a lot of documents to fill out. Besides we don't even have a barn!

Oh that works too, having a racing horse doesn't mean you have to race lol, anyway i was pretty sacred about the horse ride back then, i use to see them in tv and they made it look real easy on it, but i knew they weren't that easy.

Nah. I was just a little girl who fancied herself on the back of a good racing horse with no intent of racing it! Lol

I absolutely wanted a Nintendo DS when I was younger. I saved up money for months so that I could buy one, and when I finally did it was great. Recently however, my younger sister (who's 10 years younger than I am) broke it when she accidentally dropped it straight on the corner, causing the power light part to break off and the hinge to swing excessively. Anyway, I cried when it happened because I loved to play with it and I had spent the longest time saving up for it. My dad said he would buy me another one, but he still hasn't after about a year. I want to be able to take my DS with me on a car trip again!

I remember constantly wanting doll houses to play house. I'd cut up paper and make dolls and a million accessories if I didn't have them(which I didn't most of the time). So one day, I was watching TV and I saw this "amazing lifesize dollhouse" and since I was 6 I really bought into it lol. I tried to nudge my mom to call the number now before the offer isn't there anymore and she just was like $100 for something you don't even have space for? I begged and pleaded for days and days and then I just gave up, then she surprised me with it for my birthday months later and I was really not expecting it. My reaction was terrible lol, I feel so bad looking back at it. It was not worth the money at all, it was A LOT smaller than it looked in the commercial and it didn't come with all the parts I thought it did, I used it for storage until my mom decided to just give it away to charity because I didn't even play in it.
