I Have A Missing Turtle part 2

If you don't know I posted that my water turtle went missing. I found it just a little while ago. My son heard a banging sound in his room and looked where the sound was coming from and it was there.I put it in a bowl of water to check it out to see if it moved okay. It did so I put it back in the aquarium and moved its shelf that it goes on to get dry just for in case it got out that way. I don't know how it got out or survived from falling from the aquarium since it is about a 6 foot drop. It doesn't look like it has any injuries except baby some chips in its shell but just real minor ones not thick chips. It is swimming in the aquarium and the other turtles are excited that it is back. It was a weird experience it being missing because we looked under everything in every room. We crawled every where and looked and moved things where it could move too to see if it squeezed in anywhere. It was missing for 3 days.I even walked through out the house off and on through out the day time to see if it would get out of hiding and never seen it. The whole time It was missing I was thinking it would be nice to beable to afford to put a tracking chip in my turtles so if they come up missing I would know exactly where they were.I don't know if anyone here that is reading this has watched the series Man tracker but I felt like man tracker looking for this turtle or animal tracker. I'm glad that my turtle is safe and sound now. I'm glad that it was found alive. I was thinking of that the whole time too that it would be awful if it died and stunk up the house and I couldn't find where the smell was coming from. That is a gross and sad thought. Thank you everyone that commented and gave me advice on my other discussion about my missing turtle.

Wow! That is one sneaky turtle! I missed the other discussion...my apologies...I have been away for a few days. I think it might do you well to have a tracking device on that turtle of yours..lol...he sounds like he is very spirited. Glad you found him!

It would be neat to be able to afford to put a tracking device on all pets that can disappear . I'm glad he was found before something bad happened to him. Thank you for commenting and I know how it is on not being able to do mylot things sometimes. You have a good 4th.

That is nice to hear that you already found your pet. It sounds that he's a very lovable turtle. Well, just make sure that you have to take extra cautious this time so he won't be missing again. It's good to hear that he's been safe and still got back to your house. Just be careful next time.

My husband and I did some changes to the aquarium to try to keep that from happening again. We had the turtles for 2 years and this never happened before. So, it was strange when this happened and the one that escaped was the smallest of the turtles. Thank you for commenting and have a good weekend!

I am glad that you found your turtle and that you gave us an update. I had a comet goldfish not survive an out of tank adventure he chose to take. I did not know at that time that those guys jump.

I've heard of fish jumping out of aquariums.I have lots of fish and have been lucky to never have that happen before. That would be an awful discovery, since fish can't be out of water very long.Thank you for commenting!

I know it. We looked over the aquarium and changed somethings to try to keep it from happening again. We thought we were being safe before. It is wild how they can escape and fall that high and not get hurt and be without water and food. I was afraid of those things and it flipping upside down.Thank you for commenting!

We looked over the aquarium and we did some changes hopefully the changes will keep that from happening again. It was strange since we've had the turtles for a couple years and never had those problems before. The smallest turtle was the one that escaped. Thank you for commenting and you have a wonderful weekend!

im glad you found it. wonder how he survived that long. do they eat as often as we or a dog? and no water. thats just scarey. is it possible one of the kids was pulling a prank? i know i used to have 5 kids at home and there was times they'd pull pranks with our pets.
