Hmm... time sure flies when you are busy! So much has happened in the last 6 months! And so much has been achieved! Looking back at my last 6 months, I am thankful for the people who were in my life. The support they have provided, the opportunities that they have given me. And most important of all, my wife and I, have a new addition to the family. The various responsibilities that I have undertook, and the changes I have undergone... just saying that I have gone from one extreme to the other merely scratches the surface! The next half of the year is going to be exciting! New role to play, more responsibilities to undertake, various milestones to achieve (both on the home and work fronts), it is going to be a challenging 6 months ahead! And I am so looking forward to it! How bout you? What have you achieved in the last 6 months? What are you looking forward to for the remaining half of the year?

It seems that you got a lot of achievements for this quarter. I agree with what you said that time really flies by so fast. I will be giving birth soon and it is good thing to know that I reached my 37th week now of pregnancy and that my daughter is already a full term baby. I also organized the things that my husband and I will be needing soon. I think I still have lots to do with the remaining 6 months before this year ends. Good luck to us.

Time flies so fast and without realizing we are now in the seventh month of the year. It is indeed a wonderful news to have a new addition to the family. Congratulation! At the beginning of the new year I was delighted to get the occupation certificates for my two houses. One unit I've given to my son and the other is for me to stay. I am doing some renovation works now and hopefully by end of July I'll be able to move in to my new townhouse. Yesterday the interior decorator came to see me with his proposal and the estimation of furnishing the house. The cost is quite hefty and I am not sure whether to engage his services. But he promised me that the design is of a 4 star standard. I am yet to make up my mind.

It's hard to believe that half of the year has gone already. It doesn't seem like five minutes since we were bringing in the new year and setting our goals for the year to come. This year, I have been concentrating on losing weight, and have lost almost four stone since I started losing it in January. I have been eating sensibly and exercising a lot, and am so glad that I have finally started to become the person that I want to be in the future. I have gone down from a size 20 (UK) to a size 14-16, and I couldn't be happier. I would like to be size 12 in the future, as that is a healthy size that a lot of people aim for, so if I could reach that goal I would be more than happy.

It is really hard to believe that the year is halfway over in many ways. It just seems like just yesterday, we were saying goodbye to 2010 and ushering in the new year. I guess time just flies when life gets busy. There is really no two ways about it, I think that we tend to lose sight of the time and it really does bury us in many ways to say the very least. So I think that towards the end of 2010, might life kind of got off track in a few ways. After a couple of shaky attempts, I seem to have spiraled my life back into the right direction. I also managed to knock off a few more classes on my way to my Master's degree, which I will finally complete after the next Semester. What happens next, who's to say, but hopefully some great things for sure. Then again, the only thing sure about life is nothing's for sure.

first thing first, CONGRATULATIONS to you and your wife! so happy for you, am sure you two are very happy too! as for me, six months is too short for anything to happen. things are as per normal, which is great for me by the way. i'm enjoying life now and i really hope things will stay status quo forever. for the remaining of the year, i hope nothing much happens. will be taking a trip or two though. one to bangkok and the other to don't-know-yet.

I hesitated to respond to this discussion because I feel that I have not done enough in the work front. I have not achieved my goals and targets for the first half of the year. The arrival of 1st of July strike me that half the year is gone and I really need to buck up in order to continue to be in this industry. There is a lot of things I need to do. There is a need to review my strategies to achieve my goals. On one hand, I do feel a little down after looking at the figures. But then again, I do feel excited on what I'm going to embark for the next half of the year. My initial hesitance evaporated when I knew what I had to do. I needed to confront the reality. The reality is that I have not done well and I need to something about it.

I was able to get back on my business track again, Able to prosper in my own work for the last six months.. Although there were lots of trials and unwanted happening on my way up, I just accepted it with open mind and a big heart. Because in life, everything is a test and the only way to pass the test is to strive hard, give your best, believe you can do it and be thankful and satisfied for whatever you have now. Again, another six months of my life is soon to start and I am gratefully looking forward to it...

Oh! I love this talk. It's always good to look at the positive side of life. Let's see, for the past 6 months, I did something I've never done before. I had perfect attendance at work and no late and absences. It was amazing. I thought it was something I can never ever achieve. I'm just so good at being lazy and I hate waking up early in the morning but I was able to make it! Thank God. Hmm, I met lots of new friends, and did more things than before. I updated my websites more often and met new people from the corporate world. I went back to school and I still work full time, so it was all new to me. Hmmm.. Oh, and I passed our level 3 tech support certification for network management (highest level of support in our company). I think that was the biggest achievement so far. lol. So many things I'm looking forward to for the next half. I'll finish my PE and literature classes. I'll complete my perfect attendance record till the end of the year. I'll get a car. Will go out on an adventure to the islands in our country with my family. Everything's so exciting!

Congratulations for your new member! It's always a good news. This situation changes life and people completly, now nothing will be the same. Since I have my two children, time seems to be running and I don't know where it's gone. The only important change I had within the last weeks is that I changed work recently, which was a very important step for my family and me. So I am looking forward that everything might go better within the rest of the year.

Looking for the first 6 months of this year made me realize that I really don't achieved anything important so far. I'm doing the same thing I was doing last year. I go to some classes, I study, I go to the hospital..and that have been my routine. It's kind bad looking like that, because I always wanted a exciting live. But, I guess you need to pass to this monotone routine to be someone in life.

My and my husbands second son was born earlier this year and that is an accomplishment in itself. We also finally talked my brother in law into moving out and getting a job, and we are so proud of him for stepping up. I also finished painting my bathroom, a project I started the last time I lived in this house. We moved out for a year and my brother in law decided to do a pre schoolers paint job with this ugly green color instead of taking an hour to finish with the pretty light buttercream color I picked out. Like my son is 2 and can paint better than that. So I'm glad that's done. Now I just have the rest of the house to fix. Yay! Lol

the first half of the year I have done what I thought I would never do I let go of my shop and return to work force I've done paper works needed, gathered enough information and called the people necessary to start a new life the next half of the year will be difficult because that will be the time I actually follow up with the papers and information to arrive at this point itself required a lot of thinking and diligence the new life itself won't start until next year, if all goes according to plan and it will be even more difficult period starting a new in this economy is like losing everything I once knew but it has to be done and if I don't start now, I will live a lifetime of regret so be it I also thank my supportive friends, close and new ones I'm happy for you and your new roles hope for the best and wish me luck

Hmmm...well...I have achieved some much needed changes within my department that have been needed to be addressed for a long time. As soon as I was in position to control them...I have been hard at it..lol. I am also gong steadily along towards my degree...I am expecting to have that finished by this time next year..maybe a little sooner. I am glad that things are going well for you..I haven't seen you in forever. I am glad it has been good things that have kept you away. Take care.

Yes, this is a good reminder of things I have not done and things that need to be done. Time flies really fast every year! I wonder if the earth movement is faster OR just me who is slower. Thanks for reminding me on this. I will definitely look into it.
