Difficulty in doing my school work because of my health

I have been attending classes at Ashford University but as my health has started giving me more problems, it is getting harder to get my school work done and in on time. The other night I had two posts to do and I fell asleep before I could get them done. When I woke up, it was four a.m. I got my posts done and my paper done but they were both late. Right now, it is hard to even stay awake. I have been having thumping in my ears and neck spasms so the doctor put me on flexeril and tylenol with codeine. These both make you extremely sleepy. Without them, I would be in so much pain but with them I am like in a fog and it makes getting the school work done harder. I only have two classes left to go, so it is important that I get them done and pass them.

Have you tried talking to your instructors? If you tell them you are having health issues they may work with you. I know my husband had attended the University of Phoenix online and he had some health issues. The teachers were more than happy to work with him. Communication is the key to academic success.

Sometimes we get into condition that really can affect our works and being subjected to medication is the only way to keep us going. I have been there, too. My work suffered a lot and my energy seem to be drained most of the time. But with my family's support I was able to survived. Hold on now, pray that you survived this condition and if you can't have those school work done in time, let the people involved know your condition and may be they will give you some consideration. Keep fighting as the end is getting near, two more load and you be in the finish line. Cheers!

I am glad to hear that you only have two more classes to go. Though it has been very difficult for you to get to this point, someday this will all pass off.
I do remember you not feeling well, and do hope things do get better for you. Sounds like that although very difficult to get around, somehow you continue to plow and get it done. Do try Linda and get some much needed rest also I hope the doctors can resolve the painful thumping and spasms to subside.

in my school days, I also experienced that kind of difficult to do school work in due to my health.Well, when i am still a student and on duty for 8 hours in the hospital i got sick (tonsillitis) because of self determination still present for duty. As a student, you do not focused only to the patient but also to the charts for documentations so, after duty you are so nag, sleepy and also not feeling well. But then, after you get home, you will still process or do your paper works to be submitted to your instructor after your duty. So, its very stressful and more stressful due to your condition.
But then , I am glad that you only have two classes left and i know that you can do it! just do not pressure your self to much and most special thing is that get some rest for time to time so that you will be relax mentally and physically.
GUDLUCK!
