Rain now a days is scary to think about. You can not predict it anymore. Scary because it rain so hard and suddenly a few minutes floods build up, then after that followed by a flash flood.
What happen to Davao last Tuesday night is like what happen in Luzon with typhoon Ondoy. Yesterday Cebu has a heavy rain then build up with floods all over Cebu.
What does this mean? What shall we do with it? Scared to think especially me i have a son who went to school and me here in the office. And our house is not ready for these floods that had been happeining..
My fellow Filipino, let us be united to save our Philippines. I think there is still we can do. What do you think?

That's true. Rains scare the people now. With the bad experiences on flood, the people would always be apprehensive if it rains, specially when it is continuous.
I always be apprehensive too, whenever it rains in our place , because it makes the small rough road leading to the main street outside of our house filled with water and becomes muddy. I hate it specially during weekdays where i have to go to work in the morning. If it is the case, i would go out in my slipper and bring my shoes inside my big bag. It is so inconvenient.
How i wish the road leading outside of our house could be given attention by our barangay captain. How i wish too, that we should all do our share in the prevention of flood, like throwing our garbage properly. Some people should stop cutting trees and start planting trees instead.
Oh my! How i wish we could stop the rain from flooding.

I have the exact situation too. There was supposed to be a project concreting the roads in our place but it was cancelled due to the accusations of unfair bidding.
I really hope that it wouldn't rain anymore cause I've used 3 pants just within this week cause my pants are either too much mudded or soaked in water/muddy water.

Yours is a bigger problem than mine. I imagine you getting angry whenever you pass that road.
Me, it does not exactly go as high as the ankle. But i hate having to go through them, wetting my feet. I would always have a towel to dry my feet when i reach the road. Then , i would wash my feet at the office. yay!
When dismissal comes, it isn't a problem, because i would ride a pedicab, since it's already dark.
