Well, this is something I'm worried about since few years, when I discovered how music was important for me and how thing changes in not that long time... Few years ago (no more than 15) there were a lot of bands that today are almost forgotten by the same generation who put them on the top of the world... As you might know I expecting my first son in couple of months as you can see in my previous post and the fact the probably he will never hear of 75% of the band I listen, support and almost wold die for today kills me. The only solution I can find so far is full my house's walls with posters and photos of my favourite artist and let him ask at some point, - "Dad, who are those people?" - "Son, those people is who made me as I am!" hehe. I don't know if you feel the same, or maybe you have already been thought this if you are older and miss all good Queen and AC-DC times. Hope to read from you. Cheers D

I'm still young, even if I love some of the music right now. I do still love old music, because my mom loves to sing old songs. Old songs are more meaningful than todays songs, some of it.

Hi there. The youtube is a good source of music videos. I suggest that you download videos of music from it and store it in a hard disk or produce a copy in a CD. This way, you can show it to your children when they are of age already.

It is important for me too. Even though I am just 21 years old, and I was just a little kid when Nirvana rock the world, somehow I'm so in love with great old music. I love rock bands from the 60's to 90's mostly. I think this is because my dad used to play The Beatles' songs when I was in my crib. Maybe you should try to do similar things with your children. Instead of just putting all of those posters, why not playing your favorite songs over and over again?
