Hi every body out there you know me i always talk about love. have you realised that love is expressed differently by different people around the world. let me tell you guys a story, where i come here in africa, love is almost wild. some men express their love to their wives using a cane. i don't even know whats wrong with traditional African ladies because they too feel that husbands that don't beat their wives don't love them. this is madness, one incident i had a grand father who was married to five women and all of them stayed under one roof and him he had his own bed room while the five had only one where they would stay and for him he would pick who ever he wants this was slavery. worse still two of the wives were sisters so you can see how the world can be un fair to ladies but its high time they claimed their rights here in Africa. a lot of women are suffering at the hands of their husbands what do say about this ladies is making you suffer real love.

Let me share you this story, it was featured in one of our tv show here in Philippines. There was a a man at his 40s at that time fall in love to a bit older than him. The woman was a widower. They fall in love with each other live simple living but never married. This guy wants to have a child of thier own but the woman can no longer conceive a baby so she suggested to have a child with her daughter. So the daughter also agreed. And so they have a baby. They are living in 1 roof. The guy sleep with the mother and daugther. Both women never jealous coz they already have an arrangement. This guy cannot decide to get married coz as he said he is in love to both women.

That's harsh life. It seems African women still live in the dark ages, where a man's word is the authority. I am sorry for them and I hope they find their courage to be independent, even if they have to work hard to get foods and the things they need in their lives. I hope the government helps them and educate them better so they could rise like most of women in the world.

Actually we still have alot to do to the situation because first of all this may not even be love because parents see their young girls as a source of income and usually force them into early marriage in order to earn bride price. i am not saying all parents do this but if you are considering traditional society it is very common. education for a girl child needs to be very much emphasized. here in my country Uganda the parliament has been debating on abolish bride price but some say that its the parents right according to traditional Africa i don't know what they cherish in the so called tradition.

I hope there would be more and more parents who see the need to educate their children better and send them overseas where they can see the real world. When they get back to their country, they could try to fix the custom and condition of the people little by little. I know this may take years, but a least some should try to start it.

Oh, how awful their experience. I hope i won't experience that stuff, juts all crap. I hate what you've told us. I pity all those ladies. I hope they feel better now. And please be good to your wife as long as you'll find one. :)

I did not know that there is a tradition like that in Africa. Well I guess you cannot blame them since it is part of their tradition from generation to generation. There is nothing wrong about you posting about love. I also like to post to topics like this. I love to love as well. I show love for my husband in the most sweetest way. It feels good to be in love.

Its crazy that in this day and age, women still feel as if they need to submit to men and allow themselves to be treated like slaves. Its really terrible. What I think all women need to learn is that if someone really loves you, then they would never want to hurt you and would treat you with respect and care. Being beaten and used is not a sign of love - it is a sign of cruelty and no woman deserves to be treated that way.

Yes, you are right. Women are abused because of their great love for their husbands. I don't want to believe it's love for either of them because love is not abusive. I hope that these people will know the real meaning of love..

That's really sad to hear...and usually its hard to change specially if its tradition already. I just hope someone would be able to shake these people up and let them be aware that what their doing is wrong
