Is swimming the best exercise???

i have had that swimming is good mode of exercise??? Is it true???

i am not a swimmer but I can attest that it's true. I've met a lot of people who were swimmers in high school and college and they're really fit. I think this is because swimming involves the whole body for a cardio work out. I wish I could swim.

Of course it is! I heard it burns a bunch of calories, and makes you more flexible too. I myself go to a competitive swim club and believe me, the 2-hour practices are absolutely brutal when you get to be pretty good at swimming. Not competitive? Just take some swim classes to know how to do it. Just in case.

I think so. Because the swimming is an exercise for your whole body. Every part of you will have some exercise. Therefore, your figure will be balanced and you will have a good shape. I love China

Swimming is the best part of exercise. It saves you from drowning. It make you to help someone drowning.But you should not swim in an unknown lake or well or any other pond.I learned swimming in my child hood with out a GURU. Till today I am healthy because of my swimming in my childhood. That has made me to get strength.Hours together I used to swim in a well. A good exercise to leg , hand and neck.

Yes it's true as water stimulates all muscles of your body and you burn calories. It's really health sport also if you have problem with joints water can help you to reduce your suffering.

Swimming is a good source of exercise, as it does flex our muscles and our really moves a lot under water so your muscles get the excercise it needs.

Yes, that is true. Swimming is one of my loves as far as sports. It works pretty much every muscle in your body, especially you lower and upper back. It can make you feel free and help you forget all your worries while relieving stress.

Swimming is one of the best forms of exercise for weight loss.It uses almost all of your major muscle groups.It places a vigorous demand on your heart and lungs.When you swim you are burning about the same number of calories as a fast walk or a slow jog.

There is no such a thing "Best Exercise" may be there are better exercise, every exercise has is own Benefits and Disadvantage. Swimming is good because it force you to use a lot of muscles, the heart rate is lesser than in other exercise and you don't fell so warm cause you are already at the water. Even in swimming there are good and bad exercise like i believe that Freestyle is healthier than butterfly..
