It is estimated that more than $10 billion worth of gold, diamonds & and other precious gems from half of the secret chambers present in the temple. This all began when SUPREME COURT OF INDIA ordered to open the secret chamber inside the temple which are said to be closed for hundreds of years and when a team of professional investigated some of the chamber they where directed to the hidden treasure by some markings on the walls. There were different types of gold chains diamond stunned crowns, a jewellery made of gold which weighed more than 10 kg and was 18 feets and many more and one or two chambers are to opened yet. Have your heard of similar incidents somewhere else?

This is awesome. I mean, it's even hard to believe. I must admit that i didn't believe you at first so i did a search online. To have a treasure like that and not even know it. Didn't the monks in the temple know how much there was down there? Amazing. Even the thought of the monks just living in peace on top of all that amazes me. They had to have known something as they had records that the volt was last opened 136 years ago. This philosophy of peace and tranquility in the temples of India is one thing I have always wanted to go see and experience. I hope I'll have a chance. oh, and in answer to your question, no i never heard of something like this being discovered/uncovered.

hai friend, actually the temple priest knew there was some treasure in the secret chambers but the the chambers where not opened for hundred years and they did not aspect such ahuge amount of treasure. Actually the treasure found has gone more than $ 20 billion and only the chamber named A had been opened. SUPREME COURT OF INDIA has odered not to open the chamber called B until its next verdict. It also told that some of the treasure can used to be displayed in the museum and a new museum can be constructed for it.

I have never heard of anything like that before, but I sure do wish I wold have been the one to find it. I wonder how the treasure will be divided, I would really hope that it went to a good cause instead of making another person richer.

hai friend actually one or two chamber are not yet opened only after opening them too the total amount of treasure can be calculated. The government has not yet decided about what will be done with the treasure most likely it is to be taken undercontrol of state government or the central government. It may also be kept in museum as it will attract many tourist.

Thanks for sharing this news as I have not heard about it anywhere! What is the government going to do with it? Open an exhibit? I find this amazing as the wealth of information this can contain and help shed light on customs and way of life from way back then. One thing I hope doesn't happen is that they now start walking around every temple to discover such artifacts. At times some things should be left alone as as holy places. Thanks for sharing!
