story writing job

hi, i recently had this story writing job, got it from a bidding site (a site where you'll see tons and tons of job and you can bid on those you like). but the problem is that this job of mine is only part time. do you guys know any other sites that hire story writers?? the genre of the stories i currently write are children's stories, but im also capable of writing in any other genre as long as it's not super long. hope my mylot friends could help... :)

Good to hear that you like writing. are you open to sell your writings as well? or like having a book and publish them?

Try to join smashwords and publish your work there and its free. www.smashwords.com. I joined the site but didn't publish anything yet. Are you planning to join some writing sites as well? I will give you an update if I will find more sites for writing.

if i could find some legit sites, and legit employers then i would surely work in some writing sites. i have had enough of those employers who would request sample articles or give 1 week trial of writing articles, then in the end they wouldnt pay me though they promised to. so i'd be very glad and thankful if you could somehow help me.

I had been writing for Bukisa and Triond. Since Bukisa had changed its payment system since a few months ago, i only concentrated my writing into Triond. Here, you can earned through page views, which means the more page views you get, the more earning you will get. When you have reached $0.50, you can get paid automatically by them. I don't know of any websites that hire story writers however i would be interested in reading some of them.If you were thinking of self publishing why don't you sell them in ebook form you wouldn't have the publishing costs and you could sell through a website taking money through paypal allowing exposure to a large audience without having to get it into a shop.

http://odesk.com you don't need to bid or anything. But it's hard to get a job, once you get a huge job, you should be interview by the contractors (via skype usually) and you must get many tests before you can apply the job. Go check and search :)
