i think parents nowadays understands every problem their sons and daughters have. they know that they are the only person their children can reach out. they've been there. they know everything. that's why parents are always our guardians. most parents nowadays are open to every questions their children might ask.

Your Answer Is Right..I Must admit.....But it only accounts for a fraction of parents... One Only accepts what his / her Parents give...Fortunately(Rarely) for me my Parents are very open about these things ....

No one has ever had that talk with me. I don't know if my family was trying to protect me or what their case is, but it made it hard to have a girlfriend. And it was only because how they react if they knew I had a female friend. Those talks never came around with me. They were always concerned about me being a troublemaker. The only problem I had was that for me to actually date someone, i would have to be discreet. Even now at 30, there are still problems. I would not do that to my kids. If they ask, then they can probably handle the answer. There weren't many male figures in my life, so I couldn't reach out on their end. For some reason, my family does not place much trust in me.

I think it is a very big problem to this current generation. I have seen parents who rely mostly on teachers to educate their children about adult-life. The worst comes when a teenager asks any of her parent to explain what is really happening to him/her body... mostly the question will be redirected to grand parents or back to the teachers at school. I hope in my time I will...
