I create my discussion base on what am reading at that moment, listening to news, sometimes when am chatting with a friend. So how do you create your own discussion? Is it on what is happening around you? Or you create while listening to news.... so how do you do it?

yes something should be there so that it makes us to do something.Either we should be in trouble or either we should be happy to do something.

Hello Dear Uchelink! I don't have any particular way of creating a discussion! I am inspired by many factors! I create discussions based on day to day happenings, sometimes I get carried away with the news I watch either on TV or read in the Newspaper and I feel that I should create a discussion on it! Some times I get an idea all of a sudden from no where and I start a discusiion on it! Some times I deliberately start a discussion after thinking for a while on any one topic! But what ever may be the source of my inspiration, I am very careful before posting a discussion and I take two factors into consideration. First thing is that I search the site if my discussion is not a repetitive one and secondly I carefully calculate the time I have got at my disposal after posting a discussion, so that I can comment back on the responses I getting to my responses! Though I am very meticulously plan, some times I fail to comment back on all the responses I get! So for me starting a discussion means a big responsibility! Thanks for the discussion, I liked participating in it!

Many of my discussions are based on the things that happen in my life. It could be an experience that I have had or it could be a conversation with my husband or a friend. Sometimes I am looking for advice when I start a discussion, but most of the time I am just interested in hearing other people's opinion about a topic. A lot of countries are represented here and I think it is really interesting to learn more about other countries and cultures through the discussions. I have also started some discussions that were based on things I have read in the news, but in most cases I use the experiences from my everyday life.

Yeah, that. What you said. Basically. I also write articles online and have found that MyLot is a great place to poll for opinions from people of lots of different backgrounds, rather than just asking people I know who have all had the same factors influencing their opinions.

Though I so not start very many in my time here as a member, I find that I have done the same as you. Sometimes it could be something quite shocking to me from the news to personal day to day issues. This way I can get perspective from others on how they feel about these types of issues also. There are times I find some day to day offline issues a bit complicated to later after a depth discussion find that it actually is more common and have been able to apply some humble advice to others offline with the great responses I have received here. Simply because it has allowed me to see it from both sides and points of view.
