I have been an owner of the iPhone 3G for a few years now.
By now, my warranty period has long been over.
Over the years, I have read so much about people unlocking/jailbreaking their phone.
And I am wondering, is it that good to do it?
I mean, looking at the various websites that advocates jailbreaking iPhones, it doesn't seem that difficult.
My question is, is it that good to jailbreak your iPhone?
Did you jailbreak your iPhone?

I was also reluctant to jailbreak my iPhone before. But after a ear of my purchased, I decided to jailbreak it. It was really good. I really hoped I had it jailbreak sooner. I can download everything in the itunes for free. I never had to spend anything since then. The only cons I can say is that my iPhone freezes sometimes. But it's not a big deal. :)

I'm using Iphone 3GS as well. I've jailbreak it once before Iphone4 was out. IT's not a problem at all, and it's an easy process. Once u jailbreak your iphone, u are able to do alot of things with it, customizing your own iphone, the way u wanted.. haha =D Don't worry about it crushing or whatever, u can always restore it via itunes. Morever, each time u upgrade your your phone to the latest version, everything is automatically, revert back to its original settings.
It depends on what u want ^^

I am thinking about doing mine.
Problem is, there are so many ways to do it out in the net.
I do not know which one is the easier one to use.
There is resnow, blackgrape, white-sumthing-sumthing.... etc.
Which one did you use?
Got any tips or guide to do it?
Pls advise.

I only have an iPod, however I haven't jailbroken it yet. You'll be able to get all your games free though =) so that's a plus for people who don't wish to pay XD If you don't like it, you can always just reset the settings.
