Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao commonly known as Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao, a 32 yo Filipino boxer currently owning eight belts of different divisions. The first and only boxer to have owned eight belts and now the a politician. Was elected last year, 2010 as Congressman of Sarangani province of Philippines. Who doesn't know the guy? He faught against big names in boxing like Oscar dela Hoya, Juan Manuel Marquez, Ricky Hatton, Shane Mosley and won against them.
What made me post this discussion? Because mylot has a lot of members coming from different countries all over the world and I wonder if there's anyone who is not familiar with Pacman as he is the Philippines' living National hero of the modern time.
Last Friday when I was at work, I took an escalated call from an agent (call center). The customer on the other line was so rude and was almost shouting at me. So I told him to calm down and I'll do everything to fix the issue and just need a moment of silence so I can concentrate on his account. He told me fine. Then after about 10 seconds both of us not talking, he asked me, "Have you heard the news?". I asked him "What news?". He said, "The Mayweather junior says he's not afraid of the poun for pound king (Manny Pacquiao). Jeez! I can' wait to see them both on boxing ring and fight! They're both excellent boxers." I told him, "Actually sir I'm a Filipino. I can't wait to watch them box too." Then that's the start of my greatest raport ever. I've just made a friend who was like my enemy on set of the call because of our common idol/interest, MANNY PACQUIAO. LOL! :)

Nice story in there! Good for you, a moment of pressure turned out to be a worthwhile discussion! I also can't wait to watch a Pacquiao-Nayweather fight. I hope this bout will push through without unnecessary delays and excuses again. The fight will be really interesting to see!

Yeah! The babyface assassin should stop acting like a cry baby and just prepare to man it up on the ring. The Pacman is always ready to gobble him up! Mayweather's next fight is against a south paw. I think he is already preparing for his mega fight with Manny Pacquiao! I am sure to watch this on pay-per-view!

Yeah, I can say it was my best ever conversation in the long time I've been in the industry. I really wish to see them fight in the ring and not on tv. Haha! Bring it to the ring and stop talking! :)

Oh really? Is your girlfriend a boxer too? (can't picture her out). What are you like a boxer? A wrestler? Are you competing in Vegas just like pacman? Are you as famous as he is? Is your "incredible strength" for being able to beat "all" FILIPINOS discovered yet? If so, you won't be participating on this site as this is for those who would like to earn extra cash from home while sitting back and relaxed. Why not use your AWESOME body to earn more income outdoors. You're tall (6'5), young for a 49 yo man, 202 lbs w/ no fats. WOW!!! You must be firm. You could also be a model too (if you can). Earn millions or even billions of dollars more than what Manny Pacquiao makes every fight and you won't need to work on online sites at all.
Mike Tyson was a heavyweight boxer, very famous when he still got the spotlight on the ring but he idolizes and RESPECTS Manny Pacquiao as he is and adore Filipinos for giving him such an overwhelming support in all his fights.

Hi there, fellow Filipino.
Foremost, I'd like to say that your encounter with that particular client or customer was quite an experience; and I bet it stirred a lot of emotions in you (like anger, irritation, surprise, joy, and pride). Personally, I'm quite proud with our call center agents because I feel that they have a high level of stress tolerance. I, myself, am easily intimidated with rude and obnoxious people and I tend to just keep silent and keep my anger to myself. I'm aware that it isn't ideal but if I let all my anger out, I experience chest pains.
Well anyway, regarding Pacquiao, I'm very much familiar with him since he's also a Filipino. At first, I was skeptic that he would be able to defeat his challengers in the ring. Also, I think he's not qualified to be a politician particularly when he entered the congressional race for the first time.
But he erased these doubts and excelled in both aspects, thus winning critics' (including me) admiration.

Yeah, pressure. Whew! hahaa! When I was still a call center agent I thought we have the most challenging and stressful job but when I got promoted as a Quality Assurance Supervisor, it was even more challenging than I expected. As a QA, we monitor calls of our agents and take escalated calls from them if necessary and when we say escalated call, more often than not, the customer or the caller is mad and was already shouting and saying terrible things, threatening and cursing us over the phone. :)
It was indeed a roller coaster of emotions. At first, I never thought our conversation would end up both of us laughing and exchange nice good byes and wishing each other to have a great day. It was cool. :)

person who didn't know or one who even never heard his name before would be the poorest dumbhead in this planet. I mean, who could ever not know this great boxing athlete? he's not only the boxing's 8-time world champ but at the same time a public servant.

that dumbhead you're talking about is a total moron. If he or his lamebrain girlfriend thinks they can easily beat up Manny Pacquiao or other Filipinos then they better lick their reeking a****, my 8 year-old niece can easily beat these 2 crybaby cells.

Pacquiao is synonymous to boxing. When you say boxing, it's Manny Pacquaio. I think Mr. Webster will agree with me. Everyone around the world who loves boxing, knows and loves Manny "Pacman" Pacquaio.

Thanks journeyman_08. Unfortunately not everyone agrees with you about associating Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao as the best definition/example/icon when you say boxing. Mr. ddzdvd a 47 yo from Davie, USA says he can beat him. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahaahahha!!!
Why not? Who knows? Maybe this guy's a "pro" boxer or wrestler... Anyway, he made me really laugh. :D
