To be very honest I never used to like reading books at all. Somehow they always used to put me to sleep after I had read the first paragraph of the book. It has happened so many times that I think I could read a book and when I actually start to read then I realise that I just cannot do it. I just lose interest.
But a year ago I somehow managed to read an entire book. Its was the book by Paulo Coehlo "The Alchemist". That book was so interesting and I just kept reading and reading and read the entire book in about a week. After having read the book I was shocked myself. I could not believe it. May be I choose wrong books earlier and then I got something that was of my interest. Since then I also managed to read another two books and also plan on reading Nostradamus 2012. Lets see how it goes..

Same here! Books are the cheapest and easiest way to have an adventure. It is also the easiest way to understand a different individual's mind. I do like reading books but I don't often go to the library. In fact, I hate libraries because you are obliged to just be silent on there plus I don't like the ambiance in there. I usually take a nice good and comfortable place to read books. Under a tree I think is the best place to read one. I'm neutral on the touch and feel of the books as I am just interested with the contents. And I hate the smell of super old and worn out books. Haha! I really go for what's inside.

Wow, that's a nice setup too. Coffee while reading or maybe tea. Sometimes it really is relaxing to read a book. It has of other advantages too like being able to improve our reading comprehension and language skills. Vocabulary can also be broaden by continuous reading. It really is a pleasure to read books!

I am with you 100% hee.I love reading books.Even as a small child i loved reading.I used to curl up with a book in a corner and stay there until i was needed. My love for reaing has stayed with me all my life and still contines till now.In fact i just started reading a very interesting book, an autobiography of a Himalayan Yogi who had visited mein 2003 and who will be visiting me once again in September this year. His book was published just last year and contains many interesting anecdotes of his life spent in the Himalayan mountains in the company of his Guru.Yes, nothing gives me great pleasure than holding a book in my hand. Not for me the Kindle and its kind.

I also love reading books and magazines on my free time. Most of my favorites are romance pocket books and entertainment magazines. I find reading a pleasurable hobby and it really makes me pass time unnoticed. I can also read anything all day and I won't get tired of it.

I also love books! When I was a student, I spent all my vacant hours in library just to read interesting books. It is when I read, I experienced many things that can't be easily explained in real world. I love to read mystery books and suspense like those of Stephen King and John Grisham. Right now, I enjoy reading sci-fi books and any book with any criminal cases as its theme. Books are just so fantastic!

I love reading books too. But, it's not the feeling of touching the books that interest me. It's the way that my imagination wander, especially when I read fantasy stories. I know exactly how you feel about library. Well, I guess we both are book eaters.

Reading books is an extremely fun experience to say the very least. Especially if it is the actual experience of reading them, actually touching said books, and getting the actual experience of the books, soaking in the pages and just pulling in the actual experience of reading the books. It is truthfully an amazing great thing. E books are nice and all but its just not the same for sure.
The best books are the books that really do pull you in the store. That allow you to soak in pretty much each and every part of them. Where the fact like its almost like you are sitting right there, enjoying everything and really experiencing the book. There might be some things in life that are better, but in many ways reading books is my pleasure. Not to mention that reading books is my passion.
