How to get your lost/hacked email id back?

what are the ways through which we can get our hacked id back,are there other ways except some software or programs. Is programming skill must for hacking it back?
what are the best available software in the market for it?

The only proper way is to contact your email provider to say that your account has been compromised. You DON'T need 'programming skills' or 'software'!
There is no point in trying to play the same game as the person who hacked your account. It is more than likely that you were at least partly to blame for not using a secure password in the first place. That is by far the most common reason for having your account hacked.

well thanks for your reply,but sometimes even though the password is strong enough than also the same happens.Still contacting the administrator seems the only solution.
